  1. Your not gonna like it. I mean even with open manifolds its damn near silent with ricer blatts until you get on the gas, then it sounds like a tiny unmuffled motor until like 3k then its almost like a second wind and it goes screaming off. If your dead set on it then I'm not gonna try too stop you. Its just thats its a very diffrent sound. Kinda like a 3 cylinder geo with no muffler. The easy way is to weld 2 mufflers (I vote cherry bomb packs since there 20 bucks) up after were you cut and run tips out the side (by the rear doors). But its gonna make it sound silent compaired too your current exhaust (or lack there of) You could waste money running over the axle with 90's but IMO thats just a waste of good pipe. Best of luck.
  2. Thanks for the pep talk Dennis, I will make sure you get PM's when ever I have a disagreement with someone. Good job with the pep talk dude. lol

    1. Tungsten

      Tungsten

NPORA is where all the pathy owners go to fight on the internet lol

  3. Kill them both... and In one of the cases I mean the member. You can pick which B.
  4. Well Dennis I still have a pathfinder but mine is simply no longer vg powered. I have nothing of value too add too this thread or any on the topic of vg motors (besides my opinion of them), but that doesnt mean I have too leave (dont really care ethier way acutally) James and I we simply having a disagreement, (not even that bad of one) But thanks for telling me that I offended you. If you want to PM me go right ahead.
  5. Be hosing of the 21.

  6. You'll like the RC's then. From what I do (sounds about the same as you, I fireroad at 60-70mph) you'll like them. I did notice that the rear would want too spin out a little more then a softer shock would but the trucks are diffrent (I'm talking about full size pickups, my '21 has rancos but its sas'ed with big iron in front)
  7. I had the nitro 9k's on a ifs gm truck and there not too bad. Cant speak for others but I believe my current Ranchos offer a better ride. But both offer a very firm ride. If your looking for a softer ride look at Monroe's if you can get them.
  8. Is that the answer to how many cocks you've ate? lol.
  9. Sure, how many times have there heads been off though James? Was my mistake to add anything too this thread since truethfully I dont care about any of the vg/vq series. But I always believed that vg's are @!*% in the bottom, and i always will believe that. I mean didnt you have bearings go bad in that 88 you had? But what ever, you clearly know more then I do about little motors.
  10. Thats good , I was gonna sujest that or that the truck was defueling.
  11. Why would I need too do more reading? I no longer have a vg and I highly suspect I will never have another. I simply dont believe stock vg's 3.0s are ideal for boosting. Since most of them are both high mileage and havent been maintained. Gotta remember most of them that are still out there are pushing 150k for an average (just wait, somebuddy will chime in and say there brothers boyfriends sister as a turbo vg with 350k)
  12. Nope, the bottom ends the worst part of these motors from what I've read, and you wouldnt turbo a 30e if you wanted it too live.
  13. My1Path I believe had some Fox shocks, I'm not positive if he ever acutally had them mounted but I know he was selling a used set. A lot of people dont buy high priced gas shocks for there '21s since they mainly only trail ride.
  14. Daddy made whiskey and he made it well, cost two dollars and burnt like hell, I cut hickory just to fire the still, drink down a bottle and ready too kill

      Brown-eye women and red grenadine,

The bottle was dusty but the liquor was clean.

  15. Kingman and another guy have both done it. Kingman used a 300z motor and the other guy (dude thats shirtless in his avetar) used a M30 intake. They should both be able too help you.
  16. http://www.proformanceunlimited.com/specs/427_sbc_550.html 434 'Glide http://a-1perf.com/c...Powerglide.html Since no one offers a kit too swap too a larger motor I have no part numbers or price. Any mud tires, 33x13.5+ in the rear and 33x10.5 in the front. Stock gearing of 4.63 Fiberglass fenders ( trimmed to fit) and hood https://www.4x4parts.com/nissan/fiberglass-body-parts-pathfinder-hardbody-c-180_178_362.html No suspension mods except for shocks and a simple 3 inch lift http://www.purenissan.com/wd21_3_kit.htm I would of prefered to start out with a 4x2 but I simply couldnt find any complete lifts for them. My terrain would be 2-300 foot sections of mud.
  17. I'm getting calls from 'ladys of the night' I suspect somebuddy has involved my number in some fowl play.

  18. Answered it you self. Dont use any RVT on intake gaskets or head gaskets. It wont hold. You can use a little dab of it too hold the gasket in place when you install the intake. But dont count on it too hold any pressure. If you have gasket shalace you could use that on a gasket. But heres the basic run down RTV- Valve covers Water Pump Termostat Oil Pan (if its oil proof RTV) Non RTV- Head Gaskets Intake gaskets Throttle bodys Oil pan gaskets (it really a 2 way street with the oil pan gaskets)
  19. I think I've seen your truck before. But back on topic you could look for a used engine and just replace it with another vg if the frame is solid. I know a guy that has a '91 model that was stolen and rolled into a river. He let it site the entire summer and I believe winter before he started working on it and he acutally had it running with a load of water in the cylinders. He finally pulled the plugs and shoot all the water out. Thetruck still runs (with 280k) but is used as a wood truck now. If you keep up on the oil changes vg's will live a long time. Just too make sure, your positive the starter is engauging the flywheel? Its hard not too notice the valves bending since they make a hell of a lot of noise, along with a crank breaking.
  20. No problem about the rambling. 96+ are vortec 350s, they are not central port injected, they still have Throttle bodys but have the Votech heads and diffrent bolt patern intake. I took the seat(factory bucket) out before I even started the switch when I was toying with the idea of putting another A/T in it. I left it out because I simply pulled the 4 slider bolts that go into the floor and 2 of them broke off. Didnt fell like ez-outing or retaping them so I simply left it. I dont have the center consol any more ethier so its really a big space to the right of you when your sitting and I find my self using the shifter as a suport. Its not that big of a diffrence i guess, but it just seems like there is. Although I am strapped in the harness so I'm not going anyplace. Basically you look to your right and you see both doors instead of 1.
  21. Gotta love my new car.

  22. So like every other Wop product they simply gain style with age? Isnt there a HB on NOR with twin or quad spots mounted in the center of the hood. The trucks maroon, I used to have a photo someplace but it was an interesting look and it looked very funcinal. Just wondering how this thread is already 3 pages long? And people please dont encourage the Troll (AKA Tungsten) Edicer2's light package is also great looking with how he has real back up lights.
  23. Note too self, BooBies.

  24. Change the cams, ecu and re-gear. That may give you a stockish power level. Headers wouldnt hurt any ethier. Your on 35s so there is no chance ofit really having the power it used too. Plus your tires are 15 inch wide, they gotta weigh close too 300lbs a wheel. There really no way to do it. Maybe nitrous? Surly a 50 shot wouldnt hurt, although I know you will up it until the motor blows. Its that fun. If you want to do what the kool kids do, drop a GM plant in there. 4.3, 5.0, 5.7 what ever. Or as Nunya said, only drive down hill with a tailwind. Oh yeah, I hate my Claws, whats your feeling on yours.
