    Diffy ?

when you mean "play"... what do you mean. (i know what "play" is..) how did oyu check for the play? did you pop the diff cover and take a look at the gears for wear? chunks missing off teeth? are you running the correct gear oil? bit more info would be kinda useful..... :contract:
  3. :o wow! loks AWESOME!!!!!!!!  love the blue! -bounce-
  4. bump and possibly some info for ya to check out http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=4410&hl= also, my pathy will NOT be burped with the cap off. she refuses. i get her warm, turn on the heater n loosen the burper screw.. she burps like a little piggy. once she's done burping, i screw the bleeder back in and let er run a bit more....
  5. in engrish now please. and how ya gunna "slide" it in. that there is wishful thinking.
  6. had the same issue with my jeep........ push the stick down and back.. lol
  7. yeah, lug locks are at the top of my list alongside a kill switch, removing the coil wire when king is not in use and a gun. sly my door locks are already fubard due to 3 attempted thefts with the PO.
  8. sure it's the motor n not some steering issues or wheel balancing off?
  9. mini me rolled to 152,000 and king is at 202,000 ..... both still runnin strong -bounce-
  10. i am enjoying this thread...... especially since i am installing king's new tires next week and have been thinking more and more about security. they will go for the gusto and take the WHOLE truck to get the tires. poor king has been the victim of attempted thefts 3 times now, which is why his locks are all fubard. i had to tear out the keyless entry alarm because it stayed live all the time and ran the battery down every time it was armed. i am looking to get the big guy some GOOD anti theft devices, and so far a kill switch and taking the coil wire off have been my options (price wise). i won't be driving him everyday until i get my CL, then he will be a DD so i won't worry as much.... but until then......
  11. because i am brain dead also. what year is the motor oyu fubard the cam in? i just want to make sure our cams n sprokets are the same before i go n pull a head apart one of the sprockets is a nice shade of blue, but is not warped or damaged in any way. here's the sprockets
  12. that sh!t is outrageous! :o that sux. that sh!t is so wrong on so many levels :contract:
  13. or pull your coil wire........ a thief is NOT going to go to a store and buy a $10 coil wire for a pathy to steal it sly i saw a british prgram where ex professional car thieves were going aorund the country showing people the best and worst theft systems. they actually got a club OFF the steering wheel just by bending the wheel.. no damage what-so-ever tot he club. and they "made off" with the car in under 2 minutes. kill switches are your best defense....

    LSD Swap?

just a reminder... if you are not swapping BOTH axels. the axel gear ratios are different between auto and manuals
  15. didn't read many of the previous posts cuz i am too pissed off right now, but i have heads, and/or just the sprockets here :contract:
  16. well, depending which way yer lookin att he motor red, same one may have broke lol but yes, it is unusual for the other side to break....
  17. i can't think of a better disease to die from
  18. schweeeeeet! :cool2:
  19. if oyu go to a regular parts store it is a basic hose, usually a goodyear or similar. it is not an exact fit, but you can just trim off to match it to your stock hose. i paid $6 for mine at kragens. i suggest hose clamps in place of the factory clamps while yer in there.... them factory clamps are a PITA to get iff while everything is on.... i should know
  20. if you have $$ to blow then go dual. you will not gain ANYTHING from running duals.... if no headers, then go 2.5" pipe and a good quality muffler. wouldn't worry about the cat. cheap as possible. if you go 2.5 now, then if/when you do get headers you are already set up sly
  21. both my pathy's have a crack in exactly the same spot ont he dash. i need to get some dash pads.. cali is brutal in summer.
  22. ryan (grim greg) did a write up on frame rust repair..... i think it's int he how to's or somewhere in the garage section. it's a good, educational read. wow. that's really bad tho.... :sniff:

i am with uncc on this one...... unless the heads are only SLIGHTLY warped/uneven... just enuff to level them out.... lemme see if i can find the specs in the FSM.... *goes hunting*

    Parts

mini (92) and king (91) both have the extra lift hole in the rear bumper bracket for lifting. mini doesn't have quite enuff lift with the JGC coils to go higher, but kings sits nicely with the 3" BL. B ... you could also use the way i mounted the smitty as a baseplate for beefier bumper mounts.... and also, as above, for heavier bumpers to be installed and stable... maybe we'll bring both trucks over. that would make things easier. lifted and relatively stock trucks to work with. also, i know BP skids rule but they are out of my financial league right now. maybe a big single skid for king up front? sly
