Thanks for your efforts 88 ! I don't use that function so it makes no difference to me, but I understand why/when it would be useful. Oh well... Did you lock this thread because you didn't want to hear any more or because those shameless post whores were completely off topic and accelerating ? B
  2. LOL, read the whole thing... B
  3. I got by with a 2' and 6" linked together... Also, I utilized drive size adapters for the sockets and a 1/2 breaker bar. It's a pain, but can be done ! Just be patient, and do what I do when I start getting pissed. Walk away from it for a while. I find when I'm irritated, I do more harm than good... Good luck !! B
  4. Has it had a tune up ?? Plugs, wires, dizzy cap and rotor ?? Could you just have gotten some crappy gas ? B

Ok, 1 sec, let bandage my foot first... Yeah, she stamps on peoples feet without being angry, then laughs about it... Damn !!! Fits the psyco redhead profile, doesn't she !! I'd hate to see what she does when she IS angry... Probavly involves an aluminum baseball bat and brass knuckles !! Oh, no email yet... B

  8. LOL, a picture, thats helpful, isn't it !! Here is what you want to buy that we don't have... Thank you for shopping at Target ! B

I can find people to supply as many as you desire or we could insert the apostrophe and make it a trailing sentence... Which do you prefer ? I agree MZ, I hate clogging up the email, and if it is important I'll keep an eye on it. To each their own though, I'll mention this to admin... B

Ok... #1) Damn statikuz, I plan on teaching myself latin soon but I cant read it well yet. May sound funny, but it is a goal of mine... Did you just babblefish some article, or is that copied from something ? #2) Yes headpeace, I believe he is right... see above 3) I haven't received ANY email notification and the first post was over an hour ago, I even checked the junk mail filter... I'm wondering if the software at the begining of the year somehow disabled this function ?? Regardless, the 'dotify on reply' function does NOT seem to be working, so don't count on it !! B
  12. Thats only at the Target Superstores, isn't it ?? Hmm, I may have to go for a drive tomorrow just to see, but then I dont have a roof rack yet. Does that matter ? B

    Quick test

Ok, I understand what you mean, I'll start a test2 thread just to see if it works for me; I never use the funstion. Please post something... B
  15. OOps, sorry, didn't mention that... Needle seems fine, not noticably bent; it has 1-2mm clearance. Haha, good thinking mws. LOL unccp, a 'billet' needle !! Cool !! Make it out of aluminum, polish it, cross drill it both ways and put a glow in the dark strip on the end like a pistol sight... You'll have the coolest speedo needle ever !! B

    Quick test

I just sent you an email 1 minute ago, it said it was successfully sent. I think norcaljeo goofed or was being a wisebutt and just posted a reply... Er, are you talking about the 'email me if someone replies' function ?? Shet, now I'm cornfuzzed... B
  17. About time, I was going to give your address to my buddys Hans and Volfgang and their associate Guido... B
  18. Just a brief update. Checked wires, connectors, etc everything looks fine. Speedo had not done the wierd bit again (not like I drive much or far right now) so I'm going to follow the 'if it ain't broke, dont fix it' policy. Thanks for all the input, hopefully I won't need to persue it farther. B
  19. On a manual, the gear shifter plugs directly in the top of the tranny... no linkages, and the transfer case shifter is darn near the same way with a bracket for safety of selection; isn't that why people bend them so they can shift the full range ? Remembering mine from when I had it apart, I cant imagine what you could move or adjust... B
  20. Sorry, but the only input I have is from a Chiltons manual that covers 98-95 PU and Pathys. They state no difference, but that doesn't mean much. I don't know if there is a difference... Have you tried looking at the online manual PDF format ? B
  21. And I was about to ask you if it was RPM or speed related... LOL, I'm just glad it was nothing serious or expensive... B
  22. DOH !! Ok Bud, hit the brakes, don't change anything (and don't drive it much). Do a compression check on all the cylinders. Map that puppy out; I would start there... B
  23. While it is cumbersome at times, try searching for those items. I'm sure you will find good information. B
  24. My general opinion is that General topic has to do with Pathfinders in general , and off topic is a free for all. Yes, you have a valid point but seeing as the Off Topic forum has only been around a few months and was not 'defined' other than by name (which should be a clue in), I can see why people blur the two. My suggestion is that is if does not involve Pathfinders, then please start the thread in the Off Topic section. I really don't want to sort and move what already exists. This site is loosely monitored, patrolled or enforced by a few volunteers who mainly (other than I) focus on constructive mechanical advice or know how bolstered by the knowledgeable input of the sites members. On the whole, this seems to work and provides a relaxed environment. Enforcement takes the form of a remark in the forum/thread or PM. Ok then, I guess this has been enforced... I've been eating a lot of radishes lately. B
