  1. Why are you replacing the entire control arm?
  2. If it were me, id make it a bit more high clearance
  3. Pretty simple, just unbolt the little brackets....its like a bolt or two on the bottom and three on top in the front of the subframe
  4. We always get people that come in and get new tires or wheels and dont want their old stuff. Most of the tires though around here are from street queens so wheel sizes are typically in the 18-20in range instead of the needed 16
  5. Gotta love getting those gently used 290 dollar tires for 2 dollars lol. Im on the lookout everyday for another one or two lol
  6. So I have been trying to dig up info on this since the light came on last night under normal cruising. The truck developed a little whine the other day and I figured it was just a belt or something since it was muggy out but now the SES light is on and its throwing the P1135 and P1110 codes. Read that simply changing the oil to 10w40 can help alleviate the problem which is apparently either a bad sensor or low oil pressure. Im going to try changing to 10w40 since I need a oil change soon anyways and its cheap. Sometimes when I turn on the truck the oil light will come on and flicker for a few seconds then go off after I rev it up a bit....could that have anything to do with it? Thanks in advance guys!
  7. Exactly what was said above...I run my 35's at 30psi f/r but thats also a heavier load range than stock.
  8. Procomp es3000's. Love em to death...cheap (74 bucks out the door for both) perform great on and off road and overall a good product. I will try and get you a part number soon. Im about to head out and party tonight lol
  9. You would need to take off a trailer hitch if you had one, cause there is that big gap between the body line behind the bumper and where the hitch sits....also the spare tire.
  10. Yes the metal beneath the plastic can just be removed. Its 3 bolts per side....I wanna say 12mm. Do I need to make a "How to Remove Your Rear Bumper" thread? It only takes me but 5 minutes to do.
  11. Im not sure of the backspacing on those wheels but I know he only had to run a 1.5in spacer in the FRONT ONLY to clear a metric 33 (285 75 16)
  12. This pic? I dont get what your question is...is it about the wheel backspace?
  13. Looking at your sig WOT....what the hell is wrong with your exhaust.....makes it look like your truck has a boner it sticks out so far
  14. Yeah def pumped for a video and info on the upgraded trans
  15. It is truthful that I only started breaking parts once I went to the sfd and mostly 35's on the ifs. My cv's took a beating and my ujoints as well as the wheel bearings. Im not saying that I dont want to sas...but believe me I still want to. Its just that paying 5k for a kit shipped to my door is not something I can just go ahead and do....im a 22 year old college student for crying out loud. I bet I can do a sas for less than the staang kit. You have to keep in mind even with the price of the kit you STILL have to find an axle and build that as well as a steering box. I have friends with welders that can fab really well and have shops I can use. Its not that hard to take some measurements and put it into a link calculator and make up a 3link system then go to a local cnc shop and have some parts laser cut such as the coilover mounts ect. Id be alot more proud of my work if I did it myself and said I sas'd my truck and did it in my garage than if i was like yea its a kit I bought online. Sure there might be a few more bumps in the road along the way but hey thats to be expected when you make this much modification to a vehicle
  16. Maybe a motor mount or balljoints. Check to make sure all your subframe block bolts are tightened up too.
  17. Yeah but they want almost 5k with shipping to the us from canada. You can homebrew a sas for ALOT less than that
  18. Depending on what size hilift you have it may fit under the seat as some others have done. In terms of exhaust I think that you should just cut it off like mine
  19. We need to meet up and get some 2in lift vs sfd lift pics pronto! We only live like 15 minutes away from eachother
