Would anybody happen to have any pics of a pathy with the fenders off? And hows your ifs holding up with those 37's PA?

Well I should have the truck back tomorrow afternoon after about 1500 bucks of repairs which include Struts and mounts, ball joints cv axles tie rods and an alignment. Then I just need to try and work with the body damage once I get home. Maybe its just time to take the fenders off and throw on some 37's and ditch the front bumper for something else....

It was just my only reaction really, it was 10 30 at night and pitch black outside and all of a sudden you see something dart out in front of you can you swerve. Its the only thing that I could do really.

Swerved to miss a dog crossing the road and wound up hitting a drainage ditch curb at around 65mph....just about flipped her and i was scared silly at the time. The strut shaft literally snapped in half, the ball joint snapped in two and the tire was sitting on the lower control arm. The only thing that was keeping the tire attached to the truck was the brake line and the tie rod. As far as I can tell the rack and pinon is just fine just needs to be re adjusted and maybe a new bushing. Though I need a new strut, strut mount, ball joint e ct ect. The spring for the strut literally got jammed between the tire and the fender bending it to crap and making a terrible noise. Plus the fact that I was so angry at the time i got out and I started punching my fender....so now it has 3 big dents and I have a bruised hand Oh well ya live and ya learn. Just glad it happened late at night and with nobody else around on the road or in the truck with me as things could have very well ended much much worse off.

Ill just post some pics now and tell details later, not a good night to say the least.

My light turned itself off, then back on the day before my inspection was due. Disconnected the battery overnight to clear the code and it never came back lol

So its most likely the -Vac Bypass -Gas Cap -Evap Solenoid Guess I will start with the cheapest and work my way from there. Ill text ya Greg and see what I can come up with. Is there any easy way to test if its any of these three or is it just one of those replace a part til the light goes off deal?

Hey guya, been awhile since I posted anything here but im back with yet another ses light question! So my light came on yesterday and it read as p1440 which apparently can be ALOT of things having to so with emissions. Mainly it seems the charcoal canister may be it....but I also read that it could be a problem with the ecm that nissan had a recall for on the 01's. Any help would be great, my inspection is due this month and I cant afford to miss that.

I hated my life this past saturday....I work at discount tire and let me tell you it was NON STOP all dang day. We had 43 cars on the list at one point waiting to get worked on. People started parking in the burger king parking lot lol

And on a side note I really like how you decided to do the rear I think that next time im bored and have some time ill wind up doing the same thing. I thought about it but I couldnt figure out how it would wind up looking. Thanks for being the guinea pig....thats usually my job lol

I work alllll damn day saturday.....worked 7am to 3 at discount tire then 4 to 10 30 at bww.......tomorrow I work 7 to 3 at discount and 4 to prob 11....then probably going out to drink cause this has been a ****** past day and tomorrow is going to suck even more lol. Sunday I dont work til 4....maybe that will work but I might wind up spending sat night in Carrolton at the gfs.

This guy calls me while im ON A DATE with my girl and is like hey im stuck.....and of course I cant just leave ya out there man lol. And my plan for diggin out those ruts worked perfectly
