Pretty cool design. I noticed on our motors that the front of the valve covers are vented to the intake tubing and the Passenger valve cover also vents to the pcv valve as well. Couldn't we just combine the two to better scavenge the vapors?

The plumbing under the upper intake is just kind of rediculous for venting the vapors and for the throttle body warmer. If you were just to vent the vapors atmospherically, the oil would just accumulate and make a mess eventually.

Well after taking a look at my intake manifold, I plan to install a oil catch can. These little cans can be had on eBay for less than $20. The benefits of using one is that your intake manifolds will stay almost squeaky clean as all the oil vapors are being trapped inside the can instead of coating the insides of your intake manifolds. Also, your fuel may burn cleaner and better as air is not dirtied by the recirculated oil vapors. If your are experiencing a sticky throttle body, all that oil gunk coating your intake manifold is causing your throttle body to stick. The catch can is placed inline with the pcv valve. You can do some booty fabbing and make your own out of a water bottle and some type of filter media (such as steel wool or poly fill) to catch the oil vapors. I've seen them built and work despite being cheesy looking. Function over form.

Is there a replacement o ring/ seal I can get? Somehow Mine started leaking real bad after my last offroad outing.

Some do and some don't. You just have to call and find out.

If you're talking about that cylinder looking thing, I was told it was some kind of ground noise reducer thing a long time ago. Mine broke off and it's still running fine without it.

I installed some from O'Rielly's on a friend's pathy and they're still good over 5 years ago. As for brands I really don't know the difference. The aftermarket ones seemed beefier than the stock ones though I think.

Well, I'm running the old school hydraulics in the rear if it helps. I really don't know much of the nitrogen charged stuff.

I would say the majority of people run Rancho shocks.

I think I'll just go with the 3175 since the dome and cargo lights are 3175s.

Cut it to where the main coil matches the rest. As for the sway bars, just install the as normal and crank them up. There's a how to here.

Suprisingly I've reused the original stock gasket quite a few times and it held until recently

I ended up using another gasket for a different vehicle application. I found two gaskets with different diameter holes that fit. One being smaller and the other being larger. None of the parts store carried the gasket I needed in stock. The parts guy let me in the back and we started looking for a close match. I'll post up the part numbers and pictures later.

I figured out why my window would not roll down. The sliding bracket that the glass attaches to went too far past the guide and got hung up on it. repeated attempts to roll the window down wore down the teeth on the plastic gear. I just repositioned the gear 180* so I have some usability of the window with some manual assistance rolling it up and down. Here are the pictures I took. If you window controls operate backwards, you installed the housing for the motor backwards which reverses the polarity.

Yeah it's the 20711. My gasket blew and sounds like arse. edit: Called the local auto stores and they don't seem to have it. Then I remembered I had the gaskets that came with my headers and found an extra. FTW.

I'm trying to find a part number for the exhaust gasket that's right behind the y pipe that connects to the pipe before the cat converter. If you can find the aftermarket gasket, it'd be even better. Thanks

I forgot how long the temp probe was until I started tapping my oil filter adapter. I see that you addressed that problem. Good work!
