Right on the money! Beat me to it actually!

This is from this PDF: Typical “metal fume fever” begins about 4 hours after exposure, and full recovery occurs within 48 hours. The symptoms include fever, chills, thirst, headache and nausea. All of these symptoms, pain and suffering, as well as lost work (and play) time, can be avoided entirely by simply not inhaling the zinc oxide fumes. In my experience I always felt quite sick after welding galvanized steel.

Turn signal lights that don't Leak *UPDATED* PICS*
tmoore4512 replied to msavides's topic in 90-95 WD21 Pathfinders
Wow, looks amazing man! One question though... In the video it appears that the turn signal portion is WHITE where as just the parking light is amber? Or was it just the fact that the camera couldn't pick up the hue due to the extreme brightness produced by the LED's? -
Hey man, I wasnt trying to give you a hard time! Actually the search function isn't working correctly right now, so your good!! If you go to the garage section, or this section (custom fab, hardcore etc) and browse you will see alot of the stuff thats already been covered. This forum is a place for THIS.... so don't feel bad, we all started out just like this, and if it were not for some of the veterans around here most of us would still be scratching our heads in wonder...

My center brackets wouldnt line up. I did however put them over the hole... sealed it of course... No bolts were sticking up when I took mine off of a 2k X... -
I have to agree with B. Almost too good to be true... Even if your fron D60 was a king pin axle...

Average cost of SAS?
tmoore4512 replied to Pathmaker95's topic in Solid Axle Swaps, Hardcore Custom Fab
As for gears, 4.56 is better fuel economy with 38's, 5.13 midrange power and economy, 5.38 is more power... I posted a chart on the old forum, wonder if it got transfered... -
Crazy things the previous owner did...

Unccpathfinder... Did you buy that from some fool in TN?!?!? The PO or PO's that I got mine from had all kinds of weird wiring shinanigans going on.... There was a switch and green light bulb above the mirror where the map lights are, with wire leading to nowhere. Another set of switches under the dash that led to the battery with no fuse, and one end cut and dangling... What I assume to be 2 sets of jumper cables split and black taped together under the carpet to the back for an amplifier? And the best part... it had TRAILER BRAKES!!! WTF... There was not even a hitch on this truck when I bought it... but there was a brake box under the dash. The windshield had the family name "Gutierrez" in old english vinyl letters... When I was finished stripping all of this out I had quite a pile of wire and other crap. -

They look like they will work!! -
If this guys legitimate I would do it... That is ALOT of work... But then again if he has a team of guys to jump on it.... As for springs... (coils/leafs) to each his own. I personally am a fan of coils, but have had leaf trucks with no complaints.

Well I would say that if we lived closer we could knock out a swap pretty quickly... I frequent Anniston and Montgomery, but Mobile is a drive for me... The 3.0 can handle the larger tires. The Toy's with the 22RE 4 cylinders run 40+ inch tires with ease....Its all in the gearing... Body swap it onto a K5 frame...? -
I went with 2.25 and noticed a huge gain... No I was not burning rubber at every stop light, but I could tell a big difference in throttle response. Of course the theory of modding the exhaust needs to be matched with modding the intake...

Meth, I was about to try and explain what you just said... I went through the same thing when I went to replace my AC belt... Glad you got it figured out brother...

I thought about removing mine completely and putting a shot gun rack in its place... Dont have a functioning stereo as anyway...

Fuel pump (?) kicks on with car turned off
tmoore4512 replied to Slartibartfast's topic in The Garage
Just found this thread... Mine does the same thing from time to time, but I swore it was just the fuel pump kickin on for some reason... Got my gears turning now... -
Just about finished with the front bumper, or whatever you want to call that mass of tubing and plate... haha. I need a few days off so I can finish the fab, then coat and mount it...

You may get with the resident Nissan parts guru... Alkorahil. He has access to everything... and good prices ive heard.

On one of my XJ's I had used a conduit bender and some pipe to bend up a nifty roof rack. Took a few hours, but after it was painted it looked great... to me anyways. For now, I love my X rack. Just different... Come up with your own crazy design and take pictures!!

I removed both bars, and it is a bit freaky at highway speeds, especially if you have to evade an object in the roadway... Worst case scenario as already mentioned, remove it, drive it, if you like it cool, if not put it back on...

Thanks for the heads up... This is why NPORA is awesome...
