Plasma cutter makes a far better and cleaner cut with less heat but is probably more expensive. I'm a shipfitter( build steel ships) and a torch specialist and I would prefer to have a plasma cutter.

Yeah we never lost power either. Got alot of rain though! Glad its over with so I can get back to work.

I talked it over with the wife last night and I'm thinking about buying a used jeep that has tons and locked front and back for offroad. Using my pathy as my work truck and some offroading until I find someone locally I feel could do a SAS on a pathy. Then me and the wife could take both together and never have to wheel alone again.
-
Why? The 3.6 has 85 more horsepower and better gas mileage.
-
What to do..... I'm really driving myself nuts!
-
Could you ever get the money back out of the pathfinder though?
-
With Metalcloak fenders you can put 37's on a stock JK.
-
I am back and forth on it. I hate to get another note of about 600 a month, but I do like them. Like I said I love my pathy, and if it was more capable (SAS and 35's) I might not pursue the new Jeep. The problem is I dont have the skills or tools to do it and the only guy I have found locally to do it didn't impress me. I want a very capable vehicle and it would be easier to just buy a new Rubicon.
-
I got to have one! I know how some of you guys feel about jeepers, but in January or February when they lower the price on the '12s I will be buying one. I want the 4 door so the wife and kids can comfortably fit. It is by far the most off-road capable vehicle you can buy today. Comes stock with Dana 44's front and back both with lockers. 4 to 1 rock crawl ratio and the new motor has 85 more horsepower. I still love my pathfinder, and will take it places I don't want to take a new $40,000 jeep. But it is far more capable stock than most SAS Pathfinders.

1995 XE has 176,000

The upper ball joint looks wore out, but I am no mechanic. I'll post a pic later.
-
My front passenger tire feels like its about to fall off! It definately feels like it needs new shocks, but when I push down on the hood to rock the truck the top of the tire leans out pretty bad. Is that my upper ball joint? I can feel it when I turn too. It shakes at about 50. I thought it was from the set of cheap used mud tires on it, but could it be from the front end problem? HELP! Also my brakes started acting weird. I really have to push them hard and the truck still dont want to stop. I almost have no brakes at all. Looks like I'm gonna have to park it for a little while. Thanks in advance.

Yeah I'm gonna check out google earth. I found a great place... until the cops showed up and put my name on a list. If I go back I will have warrant! Not that serious! -
I have been trying to look for ANY place to ride, but no luck! There is one dirt pit I ride in but its small and gets boring. I live in the country!!! Maybe you guys could give me some tips on how to find places to ride. I definately got to find a buddy with a 4x4 that isnt scared to take it off road, too. They all got new Z71's. HELP!!!!!!
