  1. the uca is there to fix the angle after a big tweak to the torsion bars. searh around the forums you will find all kinds of good info.
  2. dead battery or at least dieing one... dieing alt. start there anyway. search similar threads if you don't know how to check either.

  5. what? you'll have to change your current LSD to an open diff. you answered your own Q. unfortunately this involves whole axle exchange.
  6. well, the switch may be faulty so i'd play with it or around it.
  7. hmm... just off top of my head you may also check the interlock switch.. maybe that's effecting the starting somehow. the button works kind of like the clutch. so when depressed you don't need to press the pedal but you better be in N or the truck will move.
  8. that's aftermarket parts for ya. press on the shoes a few times, towards the center. that should help. you e-brake could also be causing this if the lines are taught.
  9. the pathy one has to one of the easiest of all time. 4 screws and it's out.
  10. but not with 4 or even 5 qts. in there. i don't own one of those wrenches either. you way, WAY overtightened it. i only use my fingers. always have. don't forget to lube the gasket with some old oil first.
  11. yeah what year is yours? earlier models have a cable and the newer ones have wires. how about actually removing the cluster and opening it up to look for the issue?
  12. have you searched the forums? speaker discussion has been pretty complete in the past. you may even find a wireing diagram or two.

  15. yes, separate switches. could be either one making it bonkers.
  16. don't waste your time with the LSD, stick in a locker in there instead. it will cost about the same and not any more work.
  17. it does what is says in the link. because there are many that are duplicate. these codes are the same for all vehicles. they've doubled them to have options in the future.

  19. the capacity is exactly what you put in there. 4qt is what i dump in there most of the time. sometimes more.
  20. nope on the injector Q. they may act up cold or hot, all the time or here and there. never know. cat. there really sin't a way to test it. plugged cat will make it run like crap either hot or cold but you should have no power basically. if you can redline this thing and make it accelerate good then it's not the cat.
  21. 10% ethanol is normal in all US cities that have cold weather. no adverse effects. bad injector should throw out a code. should but may not. same with O2 and all the rest. missing could be out of time, sparking wires.. leaky va. plugged fuel filter. worn plugs, bad cap, bad rotor... lot's of things. have to start checking off these things and eventually you will stumble into it.
