  1. NOPE. I DIDN'T MISS ANYTHING.. THAT'S HOW THE ARMS COME OFF.. I WASN'T TALKING ABOUT THE BLADES BUT THEY WORK THE SAME WAY. OR MAYBE I'M OFF AND THINKING OF ANOTHER VEHICLE.
  2. wipers: mine has a little tab that you pry/pull and off they come. no nuts; 2 sec. ea.
  3. SHOULDN'T BE AN ISSUE BUT IF YOUR GASKETS AREN'T ALL THAT THEN IT WILL STARRT LEAKING AS THE SYNTH. OIL HAS CLEANING PROPERTIES.
  4. i most likely need all 3 pieces and all 3 are almost $300.
  5. it may be a no braner but it's also a load of $$$ - which i have had better things to do with.
  6. from what i am getting on the web, it just may be compression issue as the truck lurches a few inches at a time. i am hearing that if it was the clutch it would most likely just move to the bottom of an incline in a smooth way instead. hmm.. i'll have to locate a set of gauges and check as that's way simpler then having to dig into the darn tranny. it may be time to fix the e-brake too.
  7. oh, i'll check everything before i dig into the tranny, for sure.
  8. yeah nunya and 91.. that's it. e brake has been out of op for a while.. on another forum someone told me to park it in reverse. we'll see.. it could also be a compression issue but the motor runs great otherwise and i am able to roll jump it w/o effort. i'm guessing it probably is the darn clutch.. i may change the fluid and see if that helps. thanks guys
  9. hmm. i can see that as sometimes it does seem like the clutch is slow when i am going through the gears. thanks
  10. the truck seems to move a tad at a time when i am parked on a bit of an incline while it's parked in 1st. any idea what may be cause of this? it's started doing that a few months ago. everything else seems to be ok with the manual tranny. no, i have not checked the fluid level as i was waiting until i can get the truck on stands and catch up on all the things that are not working or need maintenance; i will be changing all my fluids then. thanks for any suggestions here too.
  11. i was at a gas station earlier today and moved my truck from a parking spot to the pumps to get some gas because it was cheap enough. truck started with a bit of a lazy turn of the engine but it's been doing that when battery has been low (loose alt belt). so i fill up and then try to start the truck to go on my marry way but nothing happens when i turn the key except all the bells and lights on the dash; like normal but no noises of any kind. i ask a couple of dudes in a sentra if they'd give me jump.. they do but still nothing.. one says he hears the clicking from the relay. we try this and that and nothing.. no obvious issues from just looking and poking a bit. they end up pushing me backwards and i get it fired up that way.. i get home throw it on a charger and re-charge the battery and then still nothing.. i can hear the relay clicking strong but no fire.. any ideas would be appreciated as this is the freaking last thing i need right now. i am getting to get out of town for vacay so this may have to wait until i return but i do have tomorrow to possibly get this thing running again. if anyone recalls a link to the thread about the fusable link, link me please but if any other ideas strike any of you, i'll give them all a try. thanks.

  13. my wd factory ones were just like that too and the sucka' leaned pretty bad. send them back.
  14. i've been around X's quite a bit and I can outwheel any X that's not SAS'd or locked. the only time they are better is when more power is needed.

  19. idle at 330rpm's is way too low.. it should be double that or so.

  21. that's my guess if it is 5sp it could be the tranny, diff, or the clutch. check the res. it's next to the brake booster.
  22. you don't know that yo. his pathfinder may be that spoild.
