  1. yes, most states have laws in regards to lights on vehicles however, NH doesn't seem to have anything on covering/uncovering any lights. http://www.gencourt.state.nh.us/RSA/html/XXI/266/266-37.htm but they'll stick it to you for having over 3 aux. ones or them being too high off the ground. i didn't see anything about having them all on at the same time either. http://www.gencourt.state.nh.us/RSA/html/N...TOC-XXI-266.htm btw. don't play stupid or dumb, you will lose and possibly have to pay even more. cop's testimony weighs more then yours. with the amounts of these fines, you may want to consult an attorney.
  2. volt reg behind cluster or a bad tach sending unit.
  3. yeah, look for slide pin sticky here somewhere. that is most likely the issue. don't drive with the other side in pieces, fix it please.
  4. yup. it could be getting burned up if the shift selenoid is on the fritz.
  5. my fluid was almost clear but completely not viscous just before my tranny went kaput. get on it ASAP.
  6. you will have to crawl under there and look harder. when you park your truck next time, spread out some newspapers or cardboard under the vehicle. in the morn you should get a wet spot on there and you'll have to look up from there.
  7. if she's paying, forget the old shiled.. get the whole new 10 yards.
  8. caked on mud is what the problem with mine is more then the salt.
  9. it's either the drop links or maybe panhard bushing going. i have one of these and haven't really found it yet but i kind of gave up looking. it clunks at change of pitch most of the time.
  10. dude. get matching brand for the front. sheesh. this is just shock not brain surgery.. the only shock i wouldn't get is gas shock.
  11. mine probably is a bit worse then that one.. it is doable.. you may need to wrap it instead of patching.
  12. it could be anything man. it could be tube that runs to the front got pinched or just rusted out or whatever.. you will just have too look harder and more closely. if it was after a fill up, you most likely spilt some and that's what you were smelling
  13. sure but in inexperienced hands an underrated winch could be more deadly then usual.
  14. yup no need for the panhard to be undone but i guess if you like turning wrenches then don't let me stop ya. the main PITA with mine was that the bolts were rusty or just stuffed full of crap because turning them was hard and took me for ever. the fronts were actually worse but overall they aren't any worse.
  15. i don't think i'd mess with it since the winch is so puny.
  16. addict or just off your rocker. i could use a few parts though.
  17. you will have to look harder man. it most likely is the valve cover but it could be the head. is that car running ok otherwise? if it is then it's probably not the head.
  18. no but that worries me as that grease should have been inside the boot filling the CV joint.. it sure shouldn't have been outside, it doesn't do it any good at all. i'd almost want a look inside to make sure they put at least some grease in the joint. hmm
  19. oh, i am pretty sure it's still cost effective here the only thing is at NG stations are few and far between. notice i said NG because that is what they sell here. not sure if there is much of a difference between LPG and NG not if they are interchangable in such a system.
  20. not that quickly. is something actually ripping them? the band clamp that holds them on has to be trimmed or it could cut the boots.
