It's my wife, the most it's gonna see off the paved path is when camping, nothing too serious. Local dealer only had 2 on the lot and don't want to work at all with prices since they can't get it through their heads we are NOT trading mine in. Got a couple other dealerships to try though. I don't personally have to like the style, all I have to do is ride in it and work on it, heck she don't even have one yet and has been searching for mods. Been around me too long.....

Don't in PA, you will actually get fined for it!
-
Figured it was more a general question if ANYBODY had any input, since most people on here I at least see active are wd21 and r50 owners.

Engine degreaser if it's old will get a good bit, just let it sit on the stain for awhile and you have to repeat a couple times. Or if fresh as DavefromOZ said cat litter will do wonders

As the title sais, my wife wants to get into a Pathfinder as well as me, she just wants to go a little newer than me and my little 88. Proably gonna start lookign and pricing 09s this weekend. Anybody know of any reasons to stay away from the new style, besides the fact they only come in 4 door form? Figured I'd try to get some input here even though I know there isn't alot of new-gen owners around.

Wax or RainX the windshield and a good set of blades (I actually use the RainX brand ones-no skipping or streaking for almost a year so far and thats thru a winter)and your in

Don't know about NC, but PA don't matter as long as there is more than 2/32 of tread-not dry rotted bad-covered by the fender(flare counts as well)-and matched size from side to side on each axle(front to back don;'t have to match)

x2 personally, but I don't see them clashing at all image wise.

Don't quote me but I think he was stating it like this chassis code/Maxima/avalable engines/model year span of chassis code. If I am correct in my asumption than Alkorahil is still correct, as would be you PATHMAKER

I have 12 holes in mine, none in the center for some reason. They are some kind of sheetmetal screw(I think) with standard heads you can use a socket to tighten with(don't know the technical term) and a set of pretty plastic snap on covers. Haven't lost any yet and they were the cheap ones from pep boys.
-
No issues with mine other than adjusting it, I don't think I have the correct cables though, where they bolt to the body the 2 bolt holes are wider than the threaded holes in the body.
-
Mounting pictures as promised. Sorry for the delay as well even though I figure it's not your primary concern right now.

The one you have looks almost exact to the one from my old HB. Try having them match it to a 91 2.4l (ka series, not the z series motor)4x4. Hope it helps.

HELP! how important is it to have the rear bumpstops?
nunya replied to FUELER's topic in 96-2004 R50 Pathfinders
I'd agree with some flame and it looks like you have enough to grab it with some vice grips but until you can get acess to that I don't forsee an issue on the road. I've driven with missing bumpstops before on pavement and had no issues(still eventually fixed em though before I got into any situations where i could possibly slap an axle against the frame). -
I bit the Dust HARD... Please help me

Thats a shame its a 96 xj we're parting, hit in the front but all the RF corner stuff is good. They should be plentiful in you local junkyard maby? -
Good old Google when i had my favorite HB looking for any useful info
-
I'd be for it if I actually saw any Nissan period around me, besides a couple of Xterras that is. Every Pathfinder around me it seems is Mommys grocery getter/minivan alternitave.

What year/model jeep? Parting one out at work, might be able to help out some. -
I'll get some pics of where all the mounting screws are for ya when I got some daylight again. When I got mine it was off of a 92 Pathfinder. Either someone did a really nice job in making it look like it's for one before I got ahold of it or it really was for one.

Cab extender, and I had them both on my 2wd long bed Ranger. It's goeing to be personal preference honestly, but I still stick by my decision of saying go for it. You break it get another one or just live without after the fact.
-
Most likely not, on the site I quick found they only listed for a 2 door(up to 91 for some odd reason for U.S. spec Pathfinders). Although I can't honestly compare 2 door to 4 door frames, not having acess to a 4 door.

http://www.desertrat.com/products/?id=4935 Maby try contacting and asking them, they seem to sell them, no clue what your stamped numbers are though.

You know i have to gove it the vote fo ryes, specially on a white 2 door.

For the cowl hood, look into the link I posted earlier, and it should be about what you want, not what anybody else wants to see. My hood is built by me-for me. Some people like it, some don't. I personally do and am enjoying the fact it keeps the temp down underneath it(one of the reasons I wanted to make it functional compared to the cosmetic appeal only that it was intended fo ron what it's cut out of)
-
I have to put my money with you in saying his hood is far from factory, as I would guess for almost any hood you find on any of the wd21's here, aside from the factory flat one that is of course.
