ignore me, i just realized east is the opposite side of the state, im a little tired...
-
If your more north than I-80 I can belive getting it a little worse, but south of 80 wasn't exactly slammed, just enough to make the roads icy and make non-drivers cause mishap. I got home with ease in 2wd, having to go around spun out awd's and phsycos. Did lead to som eamusement for me though after I got home, watching everyone on my bend...

Much better then an Explorer or Expedition. Beyond improvment of some of the cars running this area(marked and otherwise)
-
Just look forone you like, can always cut one down, I know someone who wanted a roofrack for his Festiva(yes a Festiva), obviously there isn't one from the factory so he cut down a rack from an old Caravan. Actually looks dam good for what it is. You have to improvise sometimes, get a little creative.

As GG said(in a typical way), measure it, if it's the size your looking for, get a drill and bolt it on.
-
I belive it was there or rockauto I got mine from, forget since then, was a fiew months ago(mine were completely missing on one side, PO thought he was a mechanic). I am almost sure it was under $100 as well(60-80 i think).

I had acess to a lift when I did my JGCs unhooked the panhard bar and shocks, put the lift up dropped the stocks out, JGCs went in with the help of a heavier friend leanign on the tire at the side I was working(not intensionally at first). Only issue i had was gettign the panhard to line back up, wasn't the smartest way I guess.

Go to the shop where you get inspected, ask your mechanic there, they should have(make that better have)a book that is close to up to date on file. PA vechile laws change minutly alot(I try to keep up with them even if I don't belive in or adhere to them exactly) but are still the same basic guidelines.
-
honestly i never really paid atention to true fuel mileage but a tank seems to last longer and more mileage in my Pathfinder than it did in my 4 cyl Hardbodys(same driving style, all 5 speeds on 31s). And the 6 definatly has a better chance of jumping into traffic than the 4 did.
-
for 33"s the general rule is the 3+3 lift you can find tons of info about around here. basicly 3" suspension and 3" body
-
Theres your problem, you asked PennDOT. And last time I got hit for un-covered lit roof mounts I got blasted for $114 per light(plus a bunch of other crap on my d21). I guess it dropped a little?
-
Ask you insp. mechanic, I know they have to be a specific distance apart and roof mount have to be covered on the street
-
where do you plan on mounting them? that is a factor for PA legality for using while on the paved path.
-
just figured I'd offer it, the one is only used as a paperweight on my toolbox at work anyway(the 4x4 one). I can always use something else for that.
-
Put it up on a lift, I've seen them rot badly

I'm on the other side of the state from you, the tint one is real, there are a fiew strange ones. I'ts illegal to have your trailer ball in your reciver and drive around without a trailer on, but bike racks and whatnot of the same mounting type are fine. If yo uhave those dorky ricer light up windshield washers and they are not wired in, it can fail inspection since you have unoperating lights, but the catch is if they are wired, you can get fined for driving with them on. Our Pathfinders can be on 33's slinging crap all over the car behind us w/o mudflaps since they are titled as station wagons(look at your owners card if you don't belive me), yet a 2wd lowered to the ground s-10 can actually fail inspection without them if your shop is strict. I can go on and on,PA vechile laws are just great.
-
As long as they shut off when you kick your high beams on, you are legal in PA for inspection. I am 99.9% sure its not a retarded PA law like the tint one as well(Front door windows legal for inspection but you can get pulled over and fined for it pulling out of the inspection station lot with your brand new stamps)

Your goeing to have chrome on your roof, it is goeing to rust at some point unless you plan on clearcoating them or something
-
If planning the swap, and at all usefull I do have two computers out of ka24e Hardbodys (12wd auto and 1 4x4 5 speed). If they would work for you I can definatly save you a couple bucks on one, I'll never use them again and don't care what they are worth.
-
I would think it to be the same basic thing as having the KA24E from a D-21 Hardbody. Get the mounts and stuff out of one of them and proably bolt right in. Just a guess though
-
Is there really a difference between the 2 kits anyway? My dilema being everywhere I contact tells me get the newer kit since I have a 93 Bumper on the front and plans of one for the back(not that I would use the brackets supplied from what I've heard some people on here complaining about)

Now you cursed it, but happy to hear it wasn't as severe as originally thought. -
I say pick up a 4th, you don't want to be odd do you? But in all seriousness with the 4 setup aimed as crazyhayseed mentioned(how mine are set) does give you a great range of light. I would suggest to Maxima alt. swap though(see the how to threads for benifits, what exactly to get and well, how to).

If the keyway is the issue, you can have a new one ground into the crank and get a new key put in. Know someone who had it done and never had a problem with it again(it was a Civic though) -
$100 to mount tires? I sure hope your getting all 4+balance/stems/side action for that. Average around here is $15 a tire mount&balance.
