Exactly, I would have been lost without it on my old Hardbody.

I get a light rub against my rf flare with 31" BF's, but my fender has a light kink and I'm running aftermarket wheels. Full flex tends to give some rub, nothing a little trimming or lift won't solve though. From the sounds of your truck just trim since it seems to be budget style. P.S., you got ripped only getting $100 for the cat, they go $250+ for a full one.

What shocks do you use on your Pathfinder?

You have to look around theres places around here to wheel. Some private but the owners don't mind as long as you leave the place the same way you found it. And there are some off road parks around(nothing too exciting ex:Slippery Rock Dunes-still somewhere to get dirty though). Get a little northern though(Kennerdale, Meadville-not nesecarly Erie northern) and you will find all kinds of back trails. As for the shock thing, I have Rancho 5k's on the back of my 88 and it rides beyond stiff back there,Procomp 3k's in the front is nice though(I know mix-match is a no-no) -
lifted my pathy..added new pics - 08/19/08

Got me jealous -
I was expecting a big hole, not that.
-
Now that is funny, theres a full size Bronco running around here that fits that perfectly.
-
Pretty cool I think, I just drilled a couple pool balls out and tapped theads into them. Couldn't do the cheesy set screw 8-ball thats smaller than a real pool ball. Planning on using some more for other things.

#2 issue I would put my money on a bad tranny mount from experience with my Hardbody. I had the same issue only a little more movement than you explained, but mine was completly ripped into 2 pieces. It had enough play to the point if you were in 1st,3rd,or5th and gave the gas a quick snap it would pop the shifter out of gear. I think the shifter was hitting something(floor possibly) and knocking it out. Replaced the mount and didn't have a problem anymore.

At least I didn't say duct tape..... that and if I am thinking correctly it is the area around the acess panel for the sending unit, and you still want to make that removable so you don't have to drop the tank if you need to work there. Just making it 1 large panel(cutting out the rotted area, making it a larger acess hole) would make it easier to work there if needed as well. My thoughts at least. That and I just said quick and easy, not correct and professional(I'm not a body man, obviously)

Do you mean in the floor panel? If so and your not worried about being pretty, cut the bad out with metal shears and sheet metal screw down some clean metal(put some RTV around the edge as well). Basicly make it a larger acess panel to the sending unit. Once the carpet is back over it you will never see it. My idea for a quick easy fix at least.

If you sell it for what you owe you can save your credit at least......just an idea -
Think your confusing "4 wheel drive"(4x4/4wd/etc) with "all wheel drive"(awd). All wheel drive is not selectable, 4wd can be shifted in some way or another(lever, button, etc) between 2 or 4 wheel drive.

The gasket is old, beat up, and shrunk a little from age but should be useable still, I hope. Messing around last night led me to find that someone else had the badges off before me once, they were held on with double sided tape. Guess I am just goeing to nut/bolt the bar on and tape them back on. Guess I should try things before I ask, better safe than sorry though.

NOS could also mean New Old Stock

Not knocking the "junkyard hunt for something that could work" I honestly like it like that, gives our stuff more bragging rights than building out of a Summit magazine. the old Built Not Bought phrase comes to mind especially looking around at others trucks on here.
-
From the simple stuff I have learned SEARCHING the forums here it seems about anything you do to a wd21 comes from a junkyard(JGC coils/maxima or quest alt swap, etc.), not a whole lot of aftermarket for them(besides the bodylift I need but just don't have the spare $ for at the moment,I still need to breakdown and do the maxima alt swap anyway)

I somehow got lucky and found myslef a factoy targa bar but can't exactly figure out the whole mounting part. I have the general idea that the 4x4 badges have to come off(somehow) and it mounts with there. 1.-how the heck do the 4x4 badges come off without breaking them? 2.-Am I supposed to have some kind of hardware to mount it? All I have is basicly the bar and some lights I have to mount to it still.

I will shut up now, easily got sidetracked.

Now I didn't say anything about a Civic being a SPORTS car, and I did say most of the time when sticking up for the truckers, not all of the time. Belive me I see my fair share of bodykits-held-on-with-zipties-and-duct-tape racers, have to remember I'm in the same state as you, just the other side.(For a state with yearly inspection and alot of countys with emissions you sure see alot of junk on the roads).
-
Dude, no offence but you need to get into some different cars, a changeover year z24 cavie is not something to compare anything to unless its a Prizm or something. The onramp thing is true though for the most part(get on RT 28 in an econo 4bang car and your getting sandwitched), but on the defence of truckers, they are not that bad, as most of the time they are the ones I see doeing the speed limit, its the morons in their mix matched primered Civics and dorks with their v6 Mustangs and Camaros(at least pay for some pipes to hide it-1 talipipe is a dead on giveaway) that think hitting the fuel cut off is cool. Voted for the odd number of pedals under the dash as well, auto is just not as much fun for me and I like having the constant control of which gear I am in. PLus the normal pluses towards it(gas mileage, cheaper repair, I don't fall asleep driving, etc...)

In PA here there is similar laws but you can get fined PER uncovered light. A local cop where I live(who luckily likes me would tell me about it on a regular basis with the 4 I had across the top of my Hardbody(even before I wired them in). Your also only allowed 1 pair of uncovered foglights that have to go off when you kick on your high beams and they have to be a certian distance apart(got bothered about that alot as well by him)
