  1. Just paid you on Paypal Steve. Looking forward to getting the sticker put on!
  2. Do you guys think that anything other than the strut bearing should be replaced? I don't wnat any of the mounts wearing out or the insulator and having to rip it apart again...
  3. 255/70R17 Revos on stock wheels does not rub at all.
  4. Wow. Edit: What Pezzy, didn't like the December one?
  5. Thanks man, if I didn't have the X rims I would have bought something very similar to yours, they look great on the QX4...
  6. Even if you got them for half price I couldn't afford that...I need new tires for the X rims...
  7. I think the blacked out headlights look great on my 01... However their light dispersion is horrible as stated before. Thank god the fogs put out a lot of light. I wish I could get the HID's, but they are too damn expensive! And GPG: I am pretty sure the QX4 comes with a hatch glass opening mechanism, so who knows how much of the hardware is already installed in the Pathfinder for the switch...
  8. The camber adjustment bolts fit in the stock mounts with no drilling. If yours look like they need drilling then you got the wrong type. Mine were the +/- 2 degrees from Summit Racing by Ingalls Engineering.
  9. Thats priceless Fueler, now lets await the response...
  10. Seriously? The god of R50's is asking us peasants a question? My only experience with an aftermarket clutch was on my W163 Mercedes ML, and it was a garbage unit purchases from Pep Boys, I ended up buying OEM online.
  11. Still doesn't have a 250hp VQ35 thumping under the hood...
  12. I agree with the statement about the S/C wheels, they are &^%*ing sweet! And OSR, the S/C was not available with a manual, but I would still go with that one if I got any Xterra. to the OP: why don't you just find an 01/02 Pathfinder 5 speed? I went from a 97 auto to an 01 5 speed, it is a blast to drive and never gets less than 17 in my 50/50 mix of driving...also the unibody means superior on road ride and handling...
  13. Rather my money go towards Mr. Jim than the smelly hobo by the bar...
  14. Ty: Drool. That is all. Kenmt stuff: I love the look of the 00-04 bumper with the PIAA light setup, but it is insanely expensive and the mounting points are very weak.
  15. One of the larger sleeves fits over the bolt but is too long...cut it shorter! I don't know what happens if you don't use the sleeve but I will let you know since my 01 couldn't fit a sleeve on either mounting point.
  16. Yep, just his hood would need to be modified for clearance...We can get a couple kits for the VQ35, lucky us!
  17. If you are going to get a heavy bumper, get the HD coils. I think everyone who has both for just a lift has been satisfied, you can't expect the MD coils to be as firm as the HD and vice versa. And if you sandwhich the strut spacer between the lower and upper spring plates it limits your maximum extension to the same as stock since the top of the CV shaft is mounting in the same location as stock. The setup pictured here moves that nut down an inch and thus extends the CV another inch. If you look at my picture below you see that the upper and lower strut mount plates are sandwiching the spacer, compared to new4x4's where the spacer simply sits on top.
  18. I think some people have done that, I think the main issue was finding a bolt that is long enough to get a nut all the way on but short enough to not rub the coil retainer...I think Chris (02silverpathy) may have done that...
  19. Longer bolts mean you need to compress the spring and disassemble the upper strut mount to get the longer bolts through the holes, the upper spring retainer is just barely in the way so you can't fit bolts through without removing it...
  20. Seems pretty expensive to me, and without a dyno chart like the one K&N posts for their intake system I would be hesitant to drop that kind of money...
  21. Wow, the whole frame bent up and crinkled the body panel, that guy must have really been trucking...
  22. He will get one because he is a stubborn redneck! I like his style on that one. And I forgot to congratulate you on taking out a Prius, it is one of my dreams as well!
  23. Holy crap man, that is really scary. This is a true testament to the safety of a Pathfinder. It was intense reading you first post, but I was relieved to see you are alright. One thing I would suggest is to stay on top of the neck issue so it doesn't become something bigger later and you get stuck with the bill. I am not religious, but thank God you are safe and I can't wait to see your new Pathy! R50 for the win!!!
  24. I think a mod should lock this thread again before it gets too out of hand. Good luck B and 88.
  25. The valve covers build up sludge with use of dino oil, combined with the PCV valve issue they can burn a LOT of oil...when I heard about the PCV valve issue I did research on Z forums and other VQ35 powered vehicles and all of them have this issue.
