  1. I like the wheels in the first one...and if I had a chance I would mount one of those just because it's different...
  2. I was just speaking form my couple of experiences with him, if this is truly the way he conducts business then that is a sad thing. I am never going to jump on you for saying your experiences and your opinions, I actually hold you higher than a lot of members because of your no bullsh!t attitude and way of handling things, which is the way I try to conduct mine. I hope everything works out for you guys and I hope this is not how Dan truly is...
  3. I would get 31's. I have 32's on mine now, and the braking has become downright atrocious with them on, to me it is not worht the extra 1/2" over 31's. And 31's barely rubbed and worn 32's need a good bit of trimming...
  4. Probably in August was the last time we talked...
  5. knowing dan personally i would say this is far from normal for him...
  6. I'm pretty sure only manual models 00-04 have the manual mode transfer case, whereas all automatics from that point on had the all model. In any case, I am referring to the all mode transfer case, not the manual transfer case.
  7. I don't think so or it would be a headline on the forum...i think nissan is just going to ignore the problem... It is not a hard job to do, there is a really good how to by Bowtied floating around, i think it is stickied in this forum...
  8. Also, make sure to loctice the power valve screws soon after you take delivery, that is the only real issue with these trucks...
  9. The problem fleurys is talking about only applies to automatic transmission 2nd gen R50's, if you have a manual like me you are golden!
  10. Chris, weren't you asking how to get the shoes out when everyone was telling you how to get the drum off? If that is so, the shoes can be a pain to get off, but are an even bigger pain to get back on. With the drum off, take a picture of the assembly so you know how all the springs go. You will need to remove all springs attaches to the shoes, and in the middle of the shoe bracket there is a spring with a round hat that you press in and twist to release. If you want help we can replace your shoes and my PCV valve over a 12 pack during a weekend sometime soon. Just PM me if your game. Just an afterthought, didn't you have to remove the shoes when pulling out the axle shafts to pull the gears out? Dan and I took apart the shoes, but I don't remember if that was necessary to pull the axle or not...
  11. Iced cold sweet black tea...southern style...hot tea only if I am sick, but amaretto feels better...no coffee for me...
  12. You must be one strong guy! These are high grade suspension bolts, it took me about an hour per rear bolt (the fronts I could always get out with a ratchet) with a sawzall equipped with demo blades...I found an angle grinder is probably the most effective way, just get the thinnest cutting wheel you can and have at it...
  13. I think they look better with the caps off...Legos look unique but too old school for me...I like the Xterra S/C rims...and someone with a WD had them and they looked awesome on it...
  14. -Georgia Institute of Technology -Atlanta, GA -2006-2007 -Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering -Went because I was recruited for lacrosse, left because of family issues that I needed to be closer to home for -University of Maryland -College Park, MD -2007-spring 2011 -Civil Engineering - Infrastructure track -Closer to home, still top 25 engineering school I want to go back to Georgia Tech for grad school, but they are very highly ranked and I will need an amazing GRE score to get back in there.
