  1. Mig or stick work well too. A left twist drill bit is handy. Sometimes just using that will twist the bolt out, and if it doesn't, you still have a hole.
  2. You will need to pull the timing belt to change the crank shaft seal.
  3. I run Valvoline conventional (yellow bottle) 5w-30 in all my vehicles and have never had a problem. 5.6 Titan, 3.0 wd21 and 2.5 Subaru. Since both of yours are 30 weight, it shouldn't change anything when cold. The 5w would just be a little thinner when hot. Weird.
  4. Xterra, 4runner. Armada should be good, same running gear as the Titan. Need to beef up the rear end if you tow a lot, and add a better tranny cooler. If you are thinking that size, the seqouia is nice. Idk what else is body on frame.
  5. They have a ton of different sizes and styles. That is where I bought the one for the rear window seal.
  6. Bulk seals are so cheap from Amazon and JC Whitney, is it worth trying to rehab them?
  7. If it has a sweet smell, it is coolant. Otherwise, water vapor like SpecialWarr said.
  8. I was also looking at spots inside the frame rails for mounting mine. The wd21 just doesn't have much spare space under the hood. Interstate makes quality products.
  9. I bought a generic molded hose from the parts store and cut it to fit.
  10. Yeah I read that the other day. The author is all wrong about the switch to 4 door. I have heard it was more to do with import taxes calling all imported two doors a sports car that fell under higher tax rate.
  11. Bypass what? Starter selenoid, relay, ignition, park safety switch?
  12. My experience is that the dimples on the backing plate are more of a guideline. The dimples on the cam gears get close, but do not necessarily line up exactly. I would say that one of the cams rotated a little when the last person did it, and they didn't realize it.
  13. I wouldn't. I am not sure the particulars on that stuff, but I would be concerned with flushing scale loose and have it plugged something else.
  14. Pull the accessory belts off and spin the pulleys by hand. It is probably bad bearings on alternator, idle pulley, etc.
  15. Are you still running a clutch fan? Could also be A bad fan clutch, so the fan isn't coming up to speed. Or just a bunch of crud in rad fins.
  16. Recently moved (mid December) and after driving the pathy the 3 hours to my new house, I lost the key. Also forgot my password to the forums. Recently found the key in the bottom of my wife's purse, so took the pathy for a spin to the post office after it sitting for a month and a half. Also, reset my password. I am back!
  17. If your torque converter isn't unlocking sometimes, or locking when it shouldn't, it can cause die at stop lights/idle. Check to see if you have any codes stored.
  18. JK Unlimited, commonly known as the JUnK by Cheap. 😁
  19. Welcome! We can't see the pics. Try not Photobucket.
  20. Check all the connections, both on the alternator and on the battery.
  21. Did you have "We are the champions" on the radio?
  22. Can you fit a die grinder with a cutting wheel and cut the head off?
