If you have a 4x4, gear ratios will be a big issue. Parking brake will be an issue, and you'll probably have to get custom brake hoses to connect from the Pathfinder body to the Ranger axle. Is the width of the axles similar? Your bolt pattern will be different too, so you'll have to get new rear wheels and have it mismatched so you can't rotate your tires. Not to mention actually bolting the axle under the truck, which will require a good deal of custom fabrication. Honestly you'll be far better off getting a good condition used R50 axle from the junkyard if you can't find a shop you want to commit to for rebuilding your current axle. If you think finding a shop to give you a rebuild quote is difficult, see what happens when you bring up a Ranger axle swap; most fab shops will probably just try to avoid getting involved entirely.

I don't believe so, but don't know for sure. If I remember correctly they bolted to fairly substantial parts of the bottom of the body that should be common across all R50's.

Definitely keep strap intact as others have said, don't want it to get longer and give you more work. 5100's are particularly hard to compress by hand compared to other shocks.

Wow, big haul! Here I was feeling accomplished that I stripped heated seat wiring out of a junkyard this weekend haha, can't wait to see how you put those gauges to use.

Personally I use Imgur (because it's been around long enough that I trust it to continue to stick around), people use other sites with great success (I believe Flickr is another one; just don't use PhotoBucket!). That rig looks like a beast in the pics with the big tires bolted on! Any driveshaft binding when rolling it around?

I agree with @Bax03SE for sure, they're completely fine for a daily. As long as you're careful you shouldn't even need the rings, although if you ever take it to a shop expect them to get it wrong haha. If you do decide to get rings they can be had from all kinds of places online from $10 to $50.

The stock wheels are hub centric. Lug centric works just fine (with coned nuts) when torqued evenly in the right pattern, but if the lug holes are particularly oversized or you torque the nuts unevenly it will no longer be centered very well. Just from my experience the couple of dollars for the rings was worth it for having zero vibration every time I put a wheel back on. I noticed that a bit of vibration would pretty quickly loosen all the nuts on that particular wheel which was my main reason to get the rings. Not using them can work out perfectly fine though, and of course with anything this fine individual results will vary.

I had those exact ProComp's, they fit nice. I ended up getting hub centric rings to get rid of a slight vibration since the center bore on those is 106 mm and R50 hubs are 100 mm. Ymmv.

If it's the color I think it is, that and red will be an interesting combo. Can't wait to see the results!

I believe that has been done before with success. I'd definitely suggest having manual hubs with that setup though, because even though you shouldn't have the CV's breaking easily, they will wear quicker than stock, especially the boots. You may have issues getting camber into spec too, 2 sets of camber bolts may well be able to do it though.

$180 bucks ain't bad, shipping could be killer with something that big, but definitely cool.
