  1. I've seen the cam key break and it can cause timing problems.
  2. I think he's talking about the heater fan as opposed to the rad fan, right Jay?
  3. Try a bottle of gasline antifreeze/injector cleaner then try replacing the FF.
  4. Does it kind of "squawk"?, it's sort of a hard sound to describe but if the fan is making any noise at all it's usually the fan motor. You can either put in a JY one and hope it lasts for awhile or buy a new fan motor.
  5. I love this thread!!!! It can't be over yet, there's still the inspection....keep us posted
  6. I don't have a Standalone Tool Chest but I got enough tools spread all over the place, does that count??
  7. My local club has been talking about Ham for awhile now. One of the members is planning on doing some training and get us licensed cuz he's a guru of communications. Luckily he's riding with me tomorrow on a day trip so I'll ask him for you.
  8. Yup, that'll get you into trouble alright :cool2:
  9. The swear jar should have enough in it to pay someone else to do it if you try and don't succeed How have you made out so far MM?
  10. That looked fun :cool2: I had an 85 GL Turbo Wagon years ago that I blew up, I used to love plowing snow in that thing
  11. Just don't get any on your hootus! I dare you to ask :X
  12. I would have just said: Sway Bar: a bar that restricts flex, but not in Spolar93's application

    Noob!

Great looking Pathy! Welcome to the NPORA from another Canadian
  14. Whoops! You mentioned the wrong thing (Xterra) if you are trying to avoid Pezzy .....her hubby is an avid Xterra fan/owner (CRAZ4SNO) Either way it doesn't matter, as long as it stays Nissan. Welcome to the NPORA
  15. I was going to recommend this approach. With that many miles on your neighbors', I don't think the tranny could still be a problem I hear what you're saying though with knowing more history on his Pathy than any others out there that are for sale. Good luck with your decision and welcome to the forum, keep the questions coming
  16. Can you say "Stinger" ? Here's what they look like on a Yoda http://www.marlincrawler.com/images/dean_500.jpg but I'ld love to see one on a Pathy Google "stinger bumper designs" or something like that.
  17. Good enough reason for me
  18. Good to hear you're feeling better, keep us posted on your progress. What's happening in March that it's your deadline?
  19. At least you got something to keep you busy while you wait for parts.......I hate when little jobs turn into big ones though Good luck with the rest of your "little" jobs
  20. I have heard good things about the selection in the Pro Comp line and price seems reasonable.......also the Rancho Shocks aren't a long travel shock, they just change the ride.
  21. What I'm thinking is if you get a shock with the most travel extended but as close to 16" compressed as possible , it should work the best as long as it bolts up. The only thing you might want to keep an eye on is the bump stops.....a shock that compresses too much will hit the bump stops so you may want to make them longer a bit to compensate. As a general rule of thumb, the shocks will only be extending great distances in a "crawling" scenerio. What I think you are looking for is a 16" compressed. The only thing that should make a difference in compressed length is if you have a suspension lift, then add your lift to the compressed length and go up from there. Ex 2" of suspension lift and the Chevy's should work (16" compressed) since you've added 2" to the stock compressed Pathy shocks (14" compressed). You want to avoid a shock hitting its extremes either way but compressed is less desirable because it's usually at higher speeds.....if your xtending your shocks fully at high speeds, you got bigger problems Am I out to lunch here anyone?
  22. Their profile says Richmond, Va (Virginia?) Hi there, welcome to the forum If the belt looks worn, replace it
  23. Counter clockwise Propane tanks loosen clockwise....I wonder why? Hehe -thnkboutit-
