  1. If you have a 120VAC 3 prong plug and you get a chance, could you follow the cord back to where it goes? I think it goes to an inline pump on that 90 degree hose. On topic....Slick, you could use that hose to get yourself an onboard shower, feed the coolant that goes through there through another little rad that heats up normal water and a pump and presto, hot water for a shower
  2. I haven't done the spacers but thought about it, there shouldn't be the concern with the coil(s) falling out cuz your panhard bar kinda holds the axle in place enough to keep the coils in. If anything the spacer should tighten the springs up so there's more pressure holding them in.
  3. Someone that plugs their Pathy in during the winter might want to check this out, but I think that hose is replaced with a recirculating coolant pump. I would check mine but the better half is driving it right now.
  4. Skidplates + Pathy + snow = Just f%^% give 'er!!!!! If you are moving fast enough, the "floatation" will not matter, but protection will.
  5. Thanks for the info, I'm still cool with my factory......tinted windows help with the "visual valuables" concern. sssh Then you'll have to check out the "Product Reviews" Section
  6. Hmmm, Ok I can see a nav and head unit but if they break the glass and they are after something, they will have to open the door anyway and set the alarm off. I thought there was glass protection in the Nissan alarm, doesn't it show something in the manual? I don't know for sure cuz I haven't broke the glass to find out
  7. I love my factory alarm, it does what I want and has never "acted up". why would you want a different one?
  8. I pulled a 17.5 foot camper trailer this summer that weighs 2550 lbs dry and loaded her up to about 3000 lbs with no electric brakes and it was fine. The manual t-mission is OK up to 3500 lbs and the auto is good for up to 5000 lbs. The thing you want to watch is not so much the weight of the trailer, but the tongue weight. It should be about 10-15% of the trailer weight, too much tounge weight and you lose proper steering and too little and the trailer will "own" you when braking. Good luck and happy trailering.
  9. Yep, an R50 in black would be my choice But those look pretty good! Nice finds Pezzy
  10. You must be really mad cuz you're yelling You definately have a short if you are blowing fuses. I wish I had of seen this a little sooner although with all your symptoms it's made this a little easier. The battery replacement (which is exactly what mine was doing when my battery was bad) was probably needed because of this short that is somewhere on the wiring that goes in the same direction as your gas level sensor and one of your signal lights. Look for wiring that is exposed to either people (feet under the drivers dash) or the elements (under the hood or undercarriage), these wires will either be shorting to ground or to another wire. If the fuse blows and you haven't even used the signal light, (i.e. you haven't switched it on) then the short is between the 12V source (fusebox) and the switch. If it blows after you switch the signal light on, then the short is after the switch toward the bulb (don't even worry about the flasher in between). I don't think it is a relay problem, usually if they fail, the fuse won't blow, the cct simple won't work (i.e. there will be no signal). Happy troubleshooting and don't let it get the best of you. Hint: look for exposed or pinched wires.
  11. Looked great. There's a few places I saw on there that I would have tried.....but I'm silly that way!

  18. Yes, the doors too.....although I didn't bend them that much, it was very close to some damage to the door when I opened it.......man, I hate those nerf bars pssd
  19. Definately look into these chapter, the tubuler (SE) ones are for looks only! If you bend them enough they will do damage to your rocker panels, it happened to mine before I put sliderz on.
  20. Welcome from a fellow Pathy owner and smoker

    LSD

Great question from a "tarmac kind of guy" .......my brother and I both read this post and looked at each other and said "HEYYYYYY!" and nodded, we figure "Why not??". The way I see it, it could actually help cornering because of the limited slip not kicking in until one tire loses traction. Straight forward, no problem....in a turn, both tires will be facing the same direction and pulling you where you are turning, right? I would love to see how something like this would work out, it could be the "best mod for a Pathy beside SAS"
  22. T-case is ATF Dexron III and Manual Tranny is 75-90w GL-4. If the shop that changed the fluids put GL in T-case and anything other than GL-4 (ex GL-5) in the manual tranny, yes you will have problems....that being said, a little shavings are OK and there is NO PAN on T-case or Manual Tranny so I would ask the shop that checked the "pan" what they were checking Sounds like they want some labor $$$ from you :X
