Mookie is there a beefier IFS set up (Tie rod ends,idler, centerlinks, control arm, etc) that a guy could go to instead of a SAS? Sorry for not getting back to you sooner on the Jamboree. I think its if you arm the system, any electrical "interruption" will set the alarm off.I.E. unlocking the doors with a key then opening the door turns the interior light on. I had this happen when I fell asleep in the Pathy and then unlocked the door manually from inside and then openned the door only to get rudely awoke :o your jumper connection was an electrical interruption.

The only time I've had gauges go "wonky" like that is when I had a defective battery but it also wouldn't start, boosted it, then when it did start it did all that crazy stuff. Almost like it was posessed. I'ld say check the altenator too.

Just did mine to the owner's manual and it said DexIII for transfer, GL-5 with LSD additive(or 80W90) to the diffs and GL-4 75w90 "only" to the manual tranny. The 90W is only good for temp above 0F which tells you really quick in our minus 40C winters...lot's of whining.

Recently got stuck and I was wondering if my LSD is working. Shouldn't both tires turn when in the mud even if stationary? And what should happen if one tire is off the ground and one has minimal traction (resistance)? Should the "aired" tire turn too? :help:
