  1. I think there are a few typos on there Pezzy..........48 CCA battery? different tire sizes front and back? that's just a couple I caught. 1. LSD works fine, if it has it......look for the orange sticker on the rear diff 2. Windows are not tinted as a standard feature AFAIK, if they are tinted it was an aftermarket job 3. I think that is the Jeep Thing I don't want to understand
  3. From toyotaoffroad.com: The 4 Wheelers Creed What many see as excessiveness, I see as necessity. What many see as too expensive, I see as priceless. What many see as twisted sheet metal, I see as a sculpture of experience. They call it maintenance, I call it caring. They say, "Why replace a perfectly good part?" I say, "If it were perfect, it wouldn't need replacing." They call it broken, I call it wounded. They see a scratch, I see a memory. They'll take the low road, they'll take the high road. I'll take a little of both and a lot of the space in between. Some say I am destroying the earth, I say I am becoming a part of it. They look at it. I look at it, feel it, taste it, breathe it, and wear it in my hair. When they take away the trail, they take away my air. Some say we are different. I say they are right.
  4. I'll answer this for you cuz I don't have a new head unit.....yet. The warn level at 0% is a good thing, you'll stay there as long as you follow these guidelines http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=389 Keep us posted on your CD player replacement

My poor son, the paint faded OK?
  7. Looks kinda neat, how much would you say it weighs?
  8. Cobras have always worked fine for me, I think it's more proper antenna installation than the CB unit itself. Just my 2 out of 100 cents
  9. Thanks for the suggestions. I've heard that the antenna on the dash trick works good but when I read the instructions it kinda threw me off. I think I'll give it a try on the dash and go from there.
  10. Get it to pass inspection first, in other words do the required minimum (bushings) then do whatever lift you want after it passes. My suggestion, SOA.
  11. 25k kms a year is not excessive for any vehicle and the Pathy is still one of the most desirable SUVs. Considering yours is 11 years old 276k is not much, especially if it's in great shape. Pezzy is right, here's some results across Ca http://www.canadatrader.com/result/result....2&type=province They have dropped a bit, but not as much as Blazers and Exploders Sorry to hear you got to sell. BTW insurance on my 98 is $85/mth, which is not bad. What's insurance costing you on a 95 in BC?
  12. I think you should have no problem getting another/better one from them,Slick. Your complaints are totally legit and if they give you probs you will need to list their website.....NPORA is in da house and got yer back It's too bad you had to go through the hassel of getting it home and then finding all these issues though, I'ld be choked
  13. I picked up a satelliet radio receiver the other day and they say to mount the antenna 6.5" from the back hatch and in the center of the roof. Seeing as I don't have my Pathy right now cuz it's in the body shop, my question is will either my rear spoiler or roof rack be in the way? What have been some other antenna mounting locations that satellite radio users have used on our Pathy's that have worked? Will the antenna work fine where they suggest?
  14. How has the OX cable locker been? I've heard of a few guys that have had probs with them. Very clean looking swap
  15. How's things going on this, my favorite thread. We haven't heard from you in awhile

  17. You beat me to this /\ /\ suggestion, I agree.
  18. I like all of your snorkel set-ups , I can't believe you hydrolocked in THAT small puddle.....that sucks, I must have been lucky so far cuz I've gone through some pretty deep stuff and no problems Doesn't Safari Snorkel provide any kind of warrantee if you do take on water as opposed to the homemade jobs that you are on your own?

CT Scan came out good, my noodle is going to stay attached Here's my rental for the next couple weeks and "No" k9sar, 31's won't fit!
  20. I think you'll have to replace the exhaust first if you don't want a ticket, you don't need a snorkle and the exhaust you will need for probably about the same cost as a snorkle.

    Accident

Thanks everyone for all the well wishes, it means alot to us. I haven't heard yet on those x-rays so I figure if it was bad they would have let me know by now  As far as the 4 wheel alignment, that's a good question.....all I know is it's included in the repair and "no" there is no such thing as a 4 wheel alignment in my Pathfinder to my knowledge......they can't adjust camber/caster either, only toe-in so that just helps when/if it comes to any arguement to fix it if they find any more damage and want to write it off, I can question the appraiser's knowledge :contract:
  22. You're not helping the situation J/K IMO I'ld keep shopping, there's plenty out there better than a Danger......
  23. I once used a windshield from a skidoo to support my hi-lift......it was just laying about 50' from where I was stuck in soft dirt , worked like a charm and convenient....thank you snowmobiler

    Accident

So far insurance says just panels and the slider, I'm glad that hasn't been swapped out yet. It's bent and I think it made a huge difference in the amount of damage. I got insurance to mark down a frame alignment check at the body shop and they are doing a 4 wheel alignment as well. Other than that it's skins for the panels all the way along the drivers side (which I'm not to thrilled with but that's what they do now pssd ) and DS fender flares, window and mirror unless the body shop finds more accident related damage, we'll see......
