  1. I have already replaced the fuel filter but I will try the injector cleaner as it is cheap and easy oh and at idle it is fine, it is only when you step on the gas with load on the engine, revs fine if in neutral
  2. Couldn't find any vac leaks, but I will check the MAF
  3. I have been having a low RPM hesitation and stumbling problem. For some reason if I apply 1/4 to 1/2 throttle it spits and sputters really bad, however if you floor it it seems to work. I have replaced the plug wires, distributer cap and rotor but the problem still continues. Any suggestions at all would be appreciated :help:
  4. yeah, that looks awesome but is $450, which at the moment isn't and option. I don't have the old carrier any more, but I do have the center section from it that the tire bolts on to. I thought I might be able to make some kind of carrier with it However, my buddy has a carrier complete that he isn't using and I imagine he would let it go very cheap, but the shipping would be deadly:(
  5. Well I have thought of that, I have no factory roof rack but do have a yakima rack. I have thought about a safari roof rack, but I looking for somethign inexpensive
  6. Ok, I am just wondering what all you pathy owners without a spare tire carrier and 33" tires put your spare? My old pathy had the carrier but my new to me 94 does not, and the tire is way too big to mount inside and easy ideas or suggestions?
  7. Just a update on this, after going over everthing it turned out to be the starter. I had my starter rebuilt for 115cdn.(not too bad) Anyhow it starts better than ever now, thanks for the suggestions
  8. That's kinda what I figured, I just can't figure out why it would work perfect when it's warm out, or been started once for the day
  9. Well here is the situation. When ever it gets real cold out, below freezing. My 94 Pathy will not start, atleast not right away. The truck will usually start after a few taps to the starter and then is good for the rest of the day. The battery seems okay, even when being boosted by another car will not start with out tapping on the starter. The weird thing is that it only does this when it is cold out and the truck has sat overnight, otherwise it works perfect. Any suggestions?
  10. Well.............The pilot bushing was the problem, but during the attempt to install the engine before I knew this it appears that I somehow managed to crack the input shaft on the transmission :furious: Sooo Now that I need a tranny as well I have decided to sell the good motor I just bought and part out the rest. The body and frame is not the best and it is time to put this old truck to rest. If anybody is interested I have a good motor and lots of parts up for grabs and I will accept any reasonable offers,if it sits here more than 2 or 3 weeks I am just going to have it towed to the junkyard :sniff:
  11. AHHHHH pilot bushing, now I understand. Well I will have to look into that tomarrow night. It is funny how you can waste an entire evening over somethign so simple
  12. Yes the engine I got is from a manual, please explain what the spigot bush is??
  13. I am in the middle of replacing my engine and I am having big trouble bolting the new motor up to my auto trans. I can get it about a half inch away from the tranny but it will not go any further. I have tried bring it together with the bolts but it jams up the crank when you do that. I have also tried intall with the torque converter first on the tranny and also with it first on the motor. Any suggestions???? I am going nuts here :help:
  14. Fredericton, New Bunswick Won't be wheeling with the Pathy for a couple of weeks though. I am going racing this weekend with my car and when I get back I have to install the new front bumper and replace a cracked CV boot before she goes back in the woods again
  15. The ECU lives in the glove compartment
