  1. find the safety relay pull it make a jumper wire 10 gauge is what I did look where the relay was and plug the jumper into the 2 large wires(JUST REMEMBER IT WILL NOW START IN GEAR) on the jumper wire I used male spade connectors to plug into the relay harness

  7. all the boat trailers I've seen have surge brakes or no brakes, also on the wiring I think mine came from uhaul and it plugs into the tail/brake harness by the light assembly and it has the converter built into it
  8. I've got a extra set of heads so I;m good there, if worse comes to worst I've a extra engine, hopefully all I'll need is the heads
  9. 6 years ago I paid $2,200 for my wife's 94 the clutch slipped a little if you really got on it everything else almost like new it had a little over 165.000 miles on it. I did have to fly from so ca to salt lake city to pick it up. I'd offer about $1.500 for it with all the problems it has
  10. yeah I was going to pull one out of a spare block and I was afraid I was going to snap it off. guess I'll pull the heads an check the pistons if theyre ok I'll go ahead and drill it out
  11. anyone know if the stud that the tensioner bolts to is screwed in or pressed fit the one on my 88 broke. haven't pulled the heads yet to see what damage there is to the pistons, hopefully nothing bad
  12. you might check the multi plug from the pump it should be in the right rear fender area
  13. we have both, mamas is a 94 mines a 88, the only think I dislike with the 88 is it's an auto trans 94s a stick. The only problem I've had with the tbi was a stuck injector shortly after buying it about 13 years ago. Mama knows how to shift a 5 speed but she doesn't know how to drive one, replaced 2 clutches in the last 6 years
  14. mine came on when I swapped out the tail/brakelites for leds, also the cruise quit working
  15. on Mamas 94 changed oil an filter, replaced the fuel line that runs between the injector rails
  16. on the d21 and wd21 that is where the A/C evap sits, if you don't have A/C it would be a simple install
  17. how many turns total did you do
  18. pulled the blower motor on mamas 95 and cleaned the 2 leaves out of it that only made noise at high speed with a slight vibration
  19. here's another replace the 1157s and your cruise will not work
  20. use 3m double sided tape when you reinstall the 4x4 badges, when I bought my bar it came with the huge bosch lights I replaced them with KC series 57s and the clear pencil beam lens and 100 watt h3 bulbs that cut down on the wind drag quite a bit
  21. back in the 70s Ford was having a problem with exhaust manifold bolts breaking and finally found that the the bolt holes in the manifolds were to small for the heating and contraction
  22. I'm going to try murectic acid on some old oils spots here, will let you know how it turns out
  23. replaced the drive belts on mamas 94, probably start on the water pump on my 88 this afternoon when it cools off
