depending on which station you were listening to it was either 106 or 112 or 115 here in Lake Elsinore yesterday. Oh another thing run your A/C for about a 1/2 hr every week it helps to keep the seals lubricated -
the 88 rolled over 250.000 miles yesterday still getting about 17 mpg with it

vagabond replied to bushnut's topic in General Forums
Like Precise said, I also keep a supply of switches and other electrical parts. Luckly my 88 is a Ca. and no rust, the 94 was from back east and a rental, a little rust but it's been taken care of -

-
On my 88 I used a mirror mount elongated the holes and used longer bolts and set it up far enough to the right so the rear glass would open without opening the tire carrier.
-

your 87 will be 27 spline I'd seriously think about manual hubs -
charged the battery on the 94, since mama broke her leg it hasn't been driven
-
first thing I'd look for is vacuum leaks

on those fans, if I remember correctly the early 21 series with just the heater had a lighter fan motor. The Calsonic A/C kits came with a heavier duty fan. Almost all the vehicles came from the factory without A/C only the Maxima and the Z came with factory A/C Of course it's been over 25 years so I could be wrong
-
I drilled and tapped mine when I replaced the bushings and pins a couple of years ago, give it a shot of grease every time I lube the front end
-
On my 88 I'm running the earlier Maxima fans with the metal frame, also the the temp sensors that fit in the bottom of the max rad. I placed the temp sensor in the metal tube in the upper rad hose it turns on the low speed fan at 190 degrees the high speed fan I have hooked to a switch on the dash. The 94 I did the same way and have had no problems with either one. The fan shroud fits the pathy rad almost perfect, I think I have some pics of the installation on here somewhere.

Well we finished wiring the KCs in mamas 94, used a 4way flasher switch. If anyone wants to know which pins, I used the 2 outside pins bottom row
