  1. If you lived closer I would say to go to Tucker Tire and have them tell you.
  2. I used the foglight relay from my old pathfinder to get my Jeep's fog lights working....is that sacrilege?
  3. Lol, I pulled mine out of my CJ to having the heater core cleaned and never put it back. When you're wheeling with three jackets on at night and it's 40 degrees, you don't get tired easy!
  4. And double check that it is in fact a two speed.
  5. I would argue that in a hot, hilly area, the stock cooling system is not adequate. Go for the fan if you notice your engine temp climb pretty high, or you can't get to operating temperature in winter. Just my .02 Don't forget a good controller, or its all for nothing.
  6. Just pull that useless heater, it's not doing you any favors. Once you get rid of it there's so much more space!
  7. I personally prefer putting them together myself. If you assemble it, you can pick and choose what goes in, you know its good, and most importantly, you're already familiar with whats in it. Be sure to update the supplies once a year, as some items expire.
  8. Well if you want to get really specific I know for a fact that when I used plain gear oil my LSD clattered. I had to use additive. However, I never stated a specific gear oil and I was under the impression that we were not discussing a specific oil.
  9. I beg to differ. No one said cheap tools had to be crappy or worthless. I just pieced stuff together from extra tools and yard sales. Probably cost no more than 10$ and it's all Craftsman.
  10. Often, gear oils will advertise that they are "LSD compatible" or "LSD fluid compatible". This only means that the gear oil is supposed to be compatible with Limited Slip Differential additive. This does not mean it's the only fluid your limited slip differential needs.
  11. Yes you are correct. Rotated your tires recently?
  12. I used to keep a small (like 1/2-3/4 inch deep max) tool box under the seat in my last rig. Had some misc tools. Pliers, a few common sockets, a couple screwdrivers and wrenches, basically for the scenario you described. I never had to use them, but that's the idea right? Live and learn.
  13. On and off rumbling isn't normal IMO. Are you using LSD additive? LSD compatible oil is not the same.
  14. So which shifter is in the stock location? Left or right?
  15. Don't think so, my 92's were just plain metal keys.
  16. Sounds about right for 33s.
  17. You will only need bead locks if you find yourself running at less than 10ish PSI. I'd say you'll need to regear for the bigger tires too.
  18. A better choice would be to manually prime the oil pump IMO. That way you're not cranking with no oil.
  19. WD21 LSD is incredibly capable, don't let anyone tell you otherwise. It's all about tire placement and knowing your rig. Make sure it's for the correct gear ratio and you'll be good.
