  1. Only thing I can add to swapping the 3.3 into a WD21 with headers is oil filter should be relocated. Oil changes are near impossible in my experience without it.
  2. Looks like they trailed the left side, which was clearly too steep.
  3. Definitely check to see if the bars can be indexed back to the right height before hand. A good shop can do this quite easily. Especially if they have computerized alignment equipment. You could probably also do it yourself. Only reason I replaced mine is because they broke from unusual circumstances.
  4. Sway away makes good bars. Based on my research, looks like they make/made the NISMO bars.
  5. I checked there for the LSD additive. I might have missed it, but it doesn't seem to mention even using LSD additive, just compatible oil.
  6. 300 HP pushing mine and still think that a manual would be better... just my 2 cents.
  7. Hmm.... FSM doesn't say. Unless Im reading it wrong it says to just use LSD compatible fluid... I'm hoping someone else has a concrete answer.
  8. Ahhh, ok. Because I have a factory hitch, plus a seven pole connector and a trailer brake controller (all added by PO). My last pathfinder had nothing and I put a hitch on it for my bike rack.
  9. Well, the auto has to turn the torque converter, plus as stated earlier the computer doesn't always choose the best gear. I believe it.
  10. What does the tow package consist of? None of mine have ever come with it. Both have had everything swapped in.
  11. I have an engine that's built with a little more power than stock. Its better with more power, but it still feels like it needs a couple more gears, or at least better shift programming. I still love it to pieces, wheels nearly as good as my CJ, and a lot more comfortable.
  12. I use 235/75/r15s on my 1968 Jeep with 15x8 wheels. Even that is pushing it too far, you can see it. Airing down is questionable, really shouldn't be done on a wheel wider than 6, maybe 6.5 inches. Only reason I still use them is I'm still trying to decide what the next tires will be.
  13. I wouldn't crank torsions, seems to have an affect on the ride. Are torsion keys available?
  14. Motul 300V in the pathfinder.... Jeep gets pretty much whatever. I put so few miles on it a year that I just change it once a year. Typically Castrol synthetic.
  15. I love my Thorley Headers... No complaints
  16. As someone who has driven an auto pathy for years, off road, on road, up and down hills, I say manual. The automatic is just terrible at choosing gears. I often find myself bogging up hills until I disengage overdrive, and climb at 4,000 RPM. Unless its gonna be an in town vehicle, in that case I would say auto is find.
  17. Driving with my HIDs on coming down a mountain road last weekend (on a flat portion of the road), a large lifted truck was driving with their brights on. Being taller than me, I know my lights weren't an issue for them, so I flashed my brights. He turned a *#%!ing lightbar on and I nearly had to stop driving because I was seeing spots.
  18. Never tired LED. Running some HIDs with high/low beam. Seem to take a minute to "warm up". They start off purple and dim, and within 30-40 seconds are bright.
  19. Project Pathfinder blew both torsion bars on the trail yesterday.

  20. Thats what I thought too. Now to just fix the lines....
  21. I don't know if it is since the PO installed it. I figured I would ask here since its the compressor that comes with the kit.
  22. I know this thread is practically ancient but I ran across it in a search. You are correct Kyle it is a derogatory word.
