I seriously doubt it. As much I wish Japanese motors were that easily swapped as American big and small blocks, these just arnt. I know a lot of interchangeability exists between the rb series of engines. (25 and 26 heads on 30 blocks for example) but from series to series, I don't think it's that easy, but I have no proof to back that up. Be sweet if they were though. -Kyle

As i said in my post, i did it the right way, pulling the intake manifold and putting it on the Factory designed location. and whatever man, if you are so sure it doesn't do anything, delete it and tell me how your pathy does. (Also, if you dont think its has an effect, why did you bother doing anything about it, hence, relocating it....just saying) Yeah, cracked headers means wonky everything, i cant wait to get back to 16 MPG. -Kyle

I absolutely love roadkill, those guys have way too much fun! Plus, I'm digging what they are doing with the new hotrod garage, and the cool tech tips they give during the show. I've learned a lot from the tips and about American classics. But glad you found a new time killer Jim, I'm a little scared myself to attack my paint for fear or ruining it. I went from 10mpg to around 13.5 overall average. I did it the right way though, taking off all of the intake manifold, and replaced it, non of that relocation malarkey. -Kyle

Not true, mine was bad and my milage was horrible. I replaced it and put 3-4 mpg back in to my per tank average. And it stopped hesitating when you got on the gas. A knock sensor code is not uncommon, it's associated with a different part that needs to be serviced, I can't remember what it was but do a quick search, plenty of people have asked about the knock before. -Kyle

oohh thats going to be tough, those things are completely different rigs. Body on frame, different steering, leaf spring rear, double wishbone front. The only thing that would the same is basic engine and transmission parts, and thats only on the VG, not the VQ. And maybe some of the interior, i remember someone on here, not too long ago, swapped the A/C controls over, but not much else would easily bolt on. -Kyle

On a crappy little V6 stuff like welds impeding flow are not going to make a difference. On a 1200hp drag car, yes, but a 168hp Nissan, not so much. -Kyle

Those kits are a hazard, not every car is the same, and the half years just make it even more complicated and confusing. I would just have rob build a "kit" with your specific Vin to insure it's right. -Kyle

Have you tried testing the thermostat? By putting it in some water with a gauge and seeing what happens? -Kyle

Nice. Make sure that you take a look at the timing belt thread, in the pinned section, it will guide you on little tips for out car. Like the A/C pipe that gets in the way, and the timing marks that a somewhat pointless. It will help prevent what I had to go through, messing up the timing on three different occasions. The bends aren't too extreme IMHO. It's pipe diameter that improves power, mpg and flow. -Kyle

It will come with three spark related items, two of which are Vital. Should come with two sockets, one long, one short. Long is for plugs 1-5, the short one is for plug six, in addition to the handle aiding in the use of provided sprockets. -Kyle

I too have experienced the rusty exhaust issues, and too had the exhaust running into the rear of the car, I just cut the pipe that runs to the rear resonator straight, immediately after the muffler, adds a nice low Rumble with no whine, no power or mpg feel though, I'm still waiting for someone to show me a exhaust that doesn't drone on freeways, and improves mileage. Still waiting for that though. -Kyle

There really isn't a kit and if there is, run. Run far and fast from it. The best solution is always OEM, head over the services section of the forum and talk to rob, or the post starter of the genuine Nissan parts thread in the services sub forum, he works as a Nissan parts man, and has really good deals on the brand new OEM parts, he can price out a "kit" and deliver it right to your door. -Kyle

Okay, first thing is first. DO NOT tell people what alarm you have, if people want to take your car, there are places that can show them how to work around even the best aftermarket alarms. And second, the alarm (if bought new) should come with instructions that should tell you what wire to splice into. If you can get your hands on the FSM (factory service manual) you can locate the wiring section, and it will tell you what color with under the dash does what.
