  1. I have to agree with the metric thingie. I work in a lab and constantly have to convert metrics. Multiples of ten just make more sense.
  2. It does look like "slab pile". I survived by going the "puss way" around it.
  3. I checked on mine today driving home from work. I set the cruise at 65 and was hanging 2500'ish. I have the 3.3L with 31" tires.
  4. If the over drive is switched off you will see an indicator on the instrument panel indicating that it is off.
  5. Funny you mentioned Optima. I just replaced my Optima Redtop for the Duralast battery. So far, no problems.
  6. I love them. They are not too loud but, do sing on the pavement. Also, they pull really, really well through the mud. I have 31"x10.5"x15". I kind of dig the aggressive look of them as well.
  7. I voted "no". My spare is the factory full size radial tire on a steel wheel. I would get a matching 5th tire/wheel combo if I had a roof rack.
  8. For less than $40 you can buy this new head unit that has what you want. You'll have to get a wire harness and mounting kit for it though.
  9. You can run the 31's stock with cutting away at the plastic wheel well liners. Shoot, I've had to cut mine away with the AC lift.
  10. Hehe .. While I'm not a hater, it is somewhat of a mockery.
  11. I'd love to replace my Nissan emblems with the Datsun badge.
  12. I've got the AC 2" lift springs with said wheels.
  13. Mines about as cheap and simple as it gets. I've got the tow strap, large wrenchs, hammer, PB blaster, oil, p/s fluid, tube of grease, duct tape, gloves, paper towels (doubles as tp!), etc. in the plastic tote. I put a couple of "eye" hooks in the back of the seat to keep it in place with a bungee cord. In between the tote and the sub is a small tool bag that has all of my socket wrench goodies, flash lights, mechanic's mirror, etc. I shave my head so I am always keeping my headwear options plenty. So the bag doubles as a hat rack!
  14. Hmmmm? At this point I'm thinking that it's not your strut bearings. The bolts/nuts don't seem to be loose (your observation). The springs are sitting in the correct orientaintion. Could be a bad strut? I'm out of ideas .. anyone? anyone?
  15. Can't see why you couldn't? Why would you want to uninstall sprngs? Keep the OEM wheels in case you want to go back to stock.
  16. Why don't you take a look at your strut mounting bolts. Pop the hood and check the three bolts that mount the strut to the body. Visually inspect them and even grab a socket wrench to see if they are torqued tightly. Check for loose nuts, heck, might want to look at the strut assembly bolt that is located under the removeable rubber plug while your there. I may be way off (usually am) but, I've been in that area of my Pathy many times recently.
  17. You are not wrong about the after market strut bearings (from what I've read here). It's crazy that the darn things (Nissan included) are made of plastic. Trevasty, does the strut make the sound when you are sitting still while turning the steering wheel full lock to full lock? I get that it does it on bumps and turns but, I want to know if the sound is only made from steering travel as opposed to "up and down" travel.
  18. No spacers needed with that back spacing. Spacers are only needed if you try to use your factory rims. The back spacing "pushes" the wheels out from the wheel wells. You know, makes it hard as fskc to keep the sides of your rig clean.
