  1. Last night i took a turn too sharp and ended up in a deep culvert at the end of my road so, today I went to the U-Pull It and snatched a LCA to replace mine that got fskced when the asphalt met with it. Also, went by the local Goodyear tire center to replace the one that was gashed from metal scrap that was buried in said culvert. $18 LCA + $200 31" Duratrac = FML!
  2. They are worth it fella's. I'll testify that these are quality built ... almost look stock.
  3. I went with 31's but, wish I had gone with 32's. All terains would be your best bet. Shop around for what your budget fits and post some dang pics already! Huh, just saw your in Illinois. I have family all over that state from the southern Mizzou side, to the Indiana boarder, to the "Windy City" itself.
  4. I can't think of any feminine products in my tool box but, the glove box is another story. You know, "Just in case, you never know." says my wife.
  5. Thankfully, my wife does not like to wheel on the trails (or camp for that matter). We get along too well and do EVERYTHING together. In fact, I blame my lack of landscaping on that fact! I guess that I'm glad I finally found a way to get my "space".
  6. I haven't been "flashed" by on coming cars yet with my extra 1" of lift in the front. I guess it is no different than loading down the back with heavy cargo?
  7. It's all good. As soon as I read your claim I scrolled up immediately to re-read my sig.
  8. You shouldn't have to worry about adjusting the lights with a modest 2-3" lift.
  9. Unless someone hacked my account, I have not made any changes to my sig other than brag about winning the ToTM.
  10. I totally agree with you there. I love the look of mine. Exactly. I hope to see a great review from Dynomax.
  11. I had looked for that thread last summer. I can't figure out this stooopid search option.
  12. Interesting point. I'll try to remember to do this the next time she's on a lift. The spacer is still in place. I was trying to convey that I have yet to experience any issues with my CV's due to running both, the AC springs and the NX4 spacer simultaneously.
  13. I run around just fine with the AC 2" lift and the 1" spacer.
  14. The strut assembly was the same on mine. We dabbed a spot of paint to remind us of the orientation.
  15. Keep us posted on the out come. The Cooper Discovery ST's may have better clearance of the shoulder blocks as opposed to the GY's. I'm going with 32's when my treads wear down.
  16. Thankfully, I purchased my head unit from Crutchfield back in '03. They sent me the correct wire harness for the factory Bose system. I'd look around online for the proper wire harness to eliminate the hassle of chasing wires.
  17. Listen to theexbrit ... I will never attempt to do them myself again. We had a near mishap using not just one but, two spring compressors. It is worth the $40-$50 to have the struts assembled for you. The rear springs were amazingly easy to do. I just used two jacks to maneuver the axel (watching out for the break line) and pretty much put them in place by hand using just one compressor.
  18. A 32" tire on our rig will require at least a 3.75" back spacing. You are correct in your understanding of the back spacing. However, I will warn you that you may need larger (or longer, if you will?) fender flares to keep your ride clean. Personally, I don't mind the "permanent" dirty look but, you might not want to deal with the constant dirty rocker panels. I'm not sure about the pre-facelift R50 flares but, my 99.5 flares don't do squat for my 8" wide wheels and the 31" Duratracs. Hope this helps you a little?
