I'm using them and have no complaints at all! They have survived mild rock crawling and deep mud. I just climed a crushed Nissan van yesterday and the only thing that buckled was the van! Of course the van was no more of a challenge than the culvert at the end of my driveway but, it sounds pretty cool, huh?

To change the isolator the rack has to be removed from the chassis. Can this be done with out raising the front wheels off of the ground? Im going to have to replace my rack this summer. :thumbdown:

I gained 5" of lift when I measured the rear fender wells from the ground (actual lift should be measured from the center of the wheel hub to the fender) due to the "saggy ass". Oh, I too had the clunking sound and bottoming out that would shake the fillings out of your teeth. *edit ... the lift has since settled down a little bit as expected.

With the smell and the indicator light signal, I'd go with these guys recommendation of checking on the alternator. The electrical smell is likely coming from the voltage regulator that is integrated in the alternator body.

It's all good. I love going back and re-reading my drivel wondering to myself, "why do I type like I talk? Is'nt it better to be thought a fool and remain silent than to speak up and remove all doubt?". That brush guard makes it look like a completely different animal. I still love the look of mine.

Mine flaked off of the original springs when I replaced them with my AC lift springs. I didn't use any rubber on the new springs and I have yet to detect any squeeking or clunking from that. Now if I could get my strutes to stop toping out ..

Finally picked up a code reader today. Got the P1440 code (EVAP leak code). I traced a faint gas smell from the carbon canister area after stoping the engine. Guess I'll start there when I get the motivation to blast the area with my pressure washer as it is completely encased with red South Carolina clay.
