I can't chime in on the size but, ill vouch for the way the Duratrac's pull through mud (look at my sig) and the way they grab the rocks when aired down to 20 psi.

Almost sounds like you've got an exhaust leak. I have pulled off all of my heat shielding from the base of the headers back to the muffler and have yet to feel any extra heat in the cabin.

If your struts are that new, you won't have to replace them. Just find a spring set that you like and go with it. The shocks on the rear will more than likely need to be replaced for a little bit more travel. Actually, come to think of it, I recall some one running "stockish" shocks with an EMU spring set. You may just need to get the springs.

I figured out my timing jumped a couple of teeth by loosening the dizzy and slowly twisting it back and forth. The motor ran like crap but it did attempt to run better when ever I "advanced" the timing. I had a long list of codes as well.

I thought the VG series ran through the '03 model year? VQ's came in '04?

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the burgundy. Who is the other member here with the burgundy R50? Makes me want to paint mine, or trade for an all black non-pre facelifted with a tire carrier and a manual transmission.

Clean the MAF sensor? Also, check the plug wires for arcing? For @!*%s and giggles, loosen the 12mm lock nut on your dizzy and rotate it (advance, retard) the timing a bit to see if it runs smoother?

Funny. I just picked up a rack and pinion from the junker today from a wrecked Q. I had to remove the bent inner TRE that reminded me of the one I bent wheeling That's all. Thank you, drive through!
