    I too am a little confused on this project. I really have nothing to add other than I want to see how this pans out. As for the ride quality of the AC lift .. I like the way it feels more like a truck.

    Mine has a "hummmm" around 60 mph or so. I haven't really heard it since I put the knobby tires on. I'm guessing the tire noise drowns it out.

    4 low with low rpm's. You will have a better "feel" if you are making a difference.

    I'm with you on this. Mine is leaking something fierce and desperately needs replaced. I'm going to tackle this hopefully some time soon.

    The struts have proven themselves to be off road capable. I too heard many negatives about the mounts and bearings. I went to my local Nissan dealership to purchase factory mounts and bearings.

    That's a really good point. The only draw back would be storing an extra set of tires/wheels. Personally, I think gloss black would look the best on your R50. I went with matte just because I don't wash my mine and didn't want to notice the difference of a clean wheel vs. a dirty one. I'd also say go with the cheaper wheels. Once they are mounted, they all kind of look the same!

    I want to eventually lose all of the plastics on mine. Maybe come up with some sort of roll cage style bumper. Gotta' lose the under carriage spare tire first.

    My rock crawling buddies tell me that its better to have the front diff locked if you where to only have one axel done. This sounds interesting.
