  1. I'm not sure what the specs are but, here are the side-by-side pics I took of my stock springs vs. the AC coils. The new coils were noticeably thicker and longer than the stock springs.
  2. Yes that! I should have said "wrecked havoc at full lock when in reverse".
  3. It also depends on the actual tire. My Goodyears have wide shoulder blocks and wrecked havoc on my inner fender wells with the 2" lift.
  4. You can be off a couple of teeth before the valves kiss the pistons. A couple of us have had t-belt issues like this. You can have them check the compression to see if the valves are closing properly.
  5. Eeesh .. at least tell us they are steel and not aluminium.
  6. Ha! Actually, we keep wheeling in the same location (Uwharrie) and the pics all kind of run together. I'm not brave enough to hit the difficult obstacles with my current set up. Very true. I only engage my Warn hubs when I'm about to hit the trails. I do lock them in for a short trip to town to keep everything "up front" lubed from time to time.
  7. My struts have not "topped out" since the first couple of months after the install. I'm guessing the springs finally settled?
  8. I agree with using a swivel (knuckle joint) and an eight inch extension. I think it's easier than trying to get the correct angle of the rigid factory tool. Plus, the hard break lines that run along the fire wall would probably get in the way.
  9. Coils should be pretty straight foreword. Strut bearings could be suspect?
  10. Look at all that snow! I really like the look of your rig. Nice touch with the "blacked out" front bumper/grille.
  11. Hmmm ... Broken or rusted engine ground?
  12. Also, what about trying to jump start it? You may have enough juice to run the accessories but, not enough to turn her over.
  13. Try tapping it hard before turning the ignition?
  14. Maybe. Do you have anyone to bang on the starter while you try the ignition?
  15. Never mind that .. I got my lazy butt off of the couch during half time. Here's a few from my thread .. (one of my favorites *sigh*) All "caked up" moments after my sig pic
  16. Look for my build thread in the "members rides" section. I'd post a link if I weren't on my phone. I have some clean pictures of it back when I first got La Blanca in '02 along with some more current pics.
  17. That thing is tiny compared to my ancient (6 yr old) inverter. I'd get my dimensions if it was not wrapped up in plastic stuffed away for the winter in my tool shed.
  18. I have the same aluminum light holder that Howie has. Pretty much just for looks.
