  1. Sure, I've seen a few. One was in a HB pickup, one was a 2-door Pathy. The Pathy had a 383, TH400, AtlasII, Ford 9" rear and D44 front. Money was obviously not an issue for him... Almost anything is possible with time and money. If you just want to know if it's possible, then yes. It will fit. You gotta figure out how, though.
  2. Since you don't know what's leaking, at least identify the fluid you're seeing. If it's thick and smells nasty, it's gear oil...auto or manual?
  3. Sticky wax choke? That's the dealie on front of the TBI with two coolant hoses going into it. I wonder if your mixture heater works, too. Mine was totally burnt out. If the EGR valve stuck open somehow it'd do that too, I bet.
  4. Net traffic is a bitch. Sometimes it's low and fast, sometimes it's high and slow.
  5. If the slave cylinder does not move when you push the clutch pedal, you have air in the line still. If that's the case, you'll have to re-bleed the clutch line and master cylinder, that's all.
  6. The ECU stores codes if any occur, and you can check them yourself if you go look at the post in the Garage on how to.
  7. Peterson's is also geared towards guys running 35's and larger. They don't tend to think well when presented with 31's, apparently.
  8. I got one for $50, but I had to pull it myself.
  9. You'd have to manually switch the accelerator pedal WOT switch AND the Power button off at the same time to keep it from using Power mode. Very easy to do with some wiring experience and knowledge of how the system works.
  10. A lot of 87-95's came with 31x10.50's. They run juuuuust fine.
  11. A Patrol swap is relatively straightforward, provided you can get all the necessary parts off a donor vehicle. Ask Vsicks Pathy, he did it.
  12. Perhaps they need some anti-squeal compound applied to the back sides of the pads.
  13. There's no way something from the valve cover could get into your valves and bend one. Only the stems poke through into the inside of the valve cover.
  14. If the brushes are shot, then a good knock will often free them up a little and make the starter work for a little longer. Like, maybe three or four more starts.
  15. Once again, it is beyond me why people send money to someone that they haven't talked to and can't get ahold of. Jim is incommunicado. Out of reach. No computer and doesn't come here anymore. He's the guy you sent money to. Sorry. You can cancel the payment if you used Paypal, though.
  16. Actually, I wasn't aware that 95's HAD a pre-cat. Is there one?
  17. Hey, just because someone else couldn't figure out how to make their horn work doesn't mean you can't ask us and find out how.
  18. You don't WANT more downwards travel. It will destroy the CV's in short order when you use 4WD and the suspension bottoms out. Been there, done that. Low-pro bumpstops are the way to go.
  19. Hey, you learn something new every day. Thanks a ton for the info, k9sar.
  20. He's gonna be pissed if he buys new hoses and it doesn't fix the problem...
  21. All it does is retard timing a little if the engine starts to knock on regular gas. It'll be fine, like the other guys said.
  22. Move up your rear bumper, man. Just unbolt it, slide up one hole and bolt back together.
  23. I'd say if you have no experience with such work, shop around for CV axle replacement prices locally and just accept the cheapest quote.
