Please do not tow a truck, esp a stuck truck, with a chain. Use a proper rated snatch strap. Chains do horrible things to humans when they snap. Ok so does a snatch strap, but it is least likely to go through your window and your head! Food for thought.

I think you will find it easier to remove the hood lining and trim as the tube runs up the front window pillar, along the trim above the doors and along the rear to the washer output. Make sense.

Search is your friend here, but yes you can put 31's under it with no issues at all. Some came out with 30's and others 31's as stock. Here is my stock std 95 on 31's and with no rubbing issues.

I forgot to mention that you MUST solder the wires and place small heat shrink sleeves over the joins. Please do not rely on insulation tape unless you can be sure it will not unravel and cause a short! Take your time and do a good job of it.

The only fix is to join the wires back together, even if you have to add some wire to where you cut them.

Um, the AC compressor is a sealed pump with a clutch pulley. Hardly the stuff to get clogged with mud as the pulley is spinning all the time when the engine is running.

Hey Dan, I am watching an auction here in NZ for a GQ tank. If I get it do I also need the bash plate for it too? Assuming the Terrano one will be too shallow? Having said this, I have done a 2" body lift so I could raise the new tank couldn't I?

Sounds like a stuffed thermostat to me, have you had this looked at? With the thermostat jammed in the open position as yours seems to be, the water does not get up to temp.

All very handy to know thanks, very handy to know. I will think about the Alt mod if and when I can source one cheap enough, just had mine refurbished a year ago. My auto sparky suggested there would be little need to go this route as only gaining 20 extra amps for the cost, he suggests a 2nd heavy duty battery would be a better option.

Do you have any pictures of these please, esp the Alternator. Did you have any issues with the vaccy pump size for the Terrano brake booster?

You need new rims with a wider off set.

Just a quick question re where it mounts where the old bumper iron were, does it use the same bolt pattern and both bolts on both sides? I'm asking because I am in the process of fabbing a new tubular winch bar and want to use this same mounting setup. Thanks.

I would be worried about some @!*% coming off the tires or a stick puncturing the filter in that position. It seems very to be vulnerable to me. But it isn't going to stop me importing a kit all the same. Now, where'd I put that piggy bank?
