  1. Why do you want to do an SAS? Do you plan on wheeling hardcore with it? If it's going to be a daily drive and only used as a weekend warrior on the trail, I'd just leave it IFS. But, that's just my 2 cents.
  2. Good luck on whatever happens!
  3. you could have a pinhole leak in a hose that's spraying onto something hot so it evaporates right away and doesn't leave a puddle and the smell is getting in through the intake vents in the cowl. But...
  4. I keep my spare key in my wallet.
  5. I have drooled over Subaru SVX's ever since I saw/drove one in Gran Turismo on the playstation 1! They are hard to find in good condition, and even then, harder to find parts for since so few were built and shipped here.
  6. I drove my truck last night for the first time in a couple days so I couldn't really remember if I had seatbelt reminder dinger, and it turns out I don't. Though, my door ajar is not a beep, it's a solid high pitched tone, which I've come to block out. Drives everyone else bonkers though.
  7. I think mine beeps a couple time, like a "put your seat belt on" dinger.
  8. Do they have money too? if so, get on that!
  9. I have removed my flares and mudflaps, thankfully haven't been pulled over for it yet **knocks on wood**. But my titles states under "Style" as "UT" and under "Series/Body" as "PATH"
  10. Not sure what the measurements are under the truck, but it's 19-20" from the ground to the lip of the fenders (no flares) on my truck. Stock rear springs and sway away torsion bars.
  11. I have staked a Pathfinder flag at the very top of the 311 trail at Evans Creek. Stock. Only damage I encountered is I taco'd my exhaust, while backing up to turn around to pull someone out who got stock... Messed up the DS rear shock tubing and annihilated the bushing. Overall, I'm proud. Pictures and Vids up later!
  12. Awesome, glad it was found and in restorable condition!
  13. That is about how the 235/75's looked like on my truck when I still had the black steelies. Not too much of a problem as long as you like the "mexi-look"
  14. thanks MY1PATH. I was gonna spout the same information. Metric (eg. 205/50R15) are not the same as standard sizes (eg. 31x10.50R15). I like these two web apps for messing around with different tire sizes. This one is metric sizes only but also gives you a visual: http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html This one does standard sizes as well and shows RPM and speed differences: http://www.dakota-truck.net/TIRECALC/tirecalc.html
  15. A 275/70 is larger than a 255/70 in every sense.
  16. You'll still have an exhaust leak, it will just be less pronounced and you'll hardly notice it, at least in comparison to before.
  17. Seconded. Very nice looking truck! Almost reminds me of mine when I first got it, now mine's been on the trail a number of times and doesn't look quite so pretty.
  18. How do you tell which line is the "out" line on the transmission?
  19. I saw a pathy at the local grocery store running 32x11.50's. aftermarket wheels and didn't look to be much trimming done, also looked stock height.
  20. use the t-bars and the UCA's and pick up some JGC springs from the junkyard...
  21. Yeah, the accordian nature of the stock intake pipe creates air turbulence and slows the incoming air charge down. But it also makes it quieter, oddly enough.
  22. I went through the automatic transmission section of the FSM but did not see anything about 16 blinks. http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=26616
  23. Be sure to add some padding to the inside curve of the bug killer, If not the air flow over the front of the vehicle will make it rock back and forth, slowly wearing away the paint on the edge of the hood/fenders. My truck had a bug killer on it and broke it on the trail, what I found underneath was not pleasing.
  24. Congrats, you yourself seem very knowledgeable! I thank you for your contributions!
