  1. As promised, Rig Pics! Heres my Taco It had a 2" lift, 33s and a light bar i made myself, as well as some hellas and a few zoom zoom upgrades Wheelin in the Black Hills Wheelin in the Black Hills in winter.....Not Recommended My Pathy shortly after I got it And apparently I only have crappy pics of it before I sold it Oh yeah! I forgot to mention my Datsun I had for a gas saver! I never got a pic of it after i did my work to it. I fixed all the rust on the bedsides and floor, lowered it on a crappy set of chromies, swapped in bucket seats, painted it black and pinstriped the crap out of the hood Now I drive this Turd But, I'd say its cxome a LONG way from when I got it Yes, the Bumper was a 2x10 wrapped in carpet Later! Travis
  2. HOLY CRAP REDPATH! dude, your sig hasnt changed in 3 years... lol
  3. The new pathy I'm looking at is a 94, no idea what trim, but it really doesn't matter to me. Its a V6 4x4 with an auto. I'll probably take it from the dealership straight to the shop to do a trans fluid flush and throw a trans cooler on it (my auto on my 93 went out twice) No way am I moving to MO, was headed there with the lady, but the lady decided she didn't want me tagging along. Whatever I guess Yeah, I'd sell most everything I have to get my Tacoma or Pathy back. Not this POS jeep. Moral of the story? Never buy american
  4. Well its been a few years since I visited my old home here at NPORA. I think I las posted in the winter of 07. Too long in my book. I bet most of you've forgotten who I am by now lol. Did my Wyotch thing, got out of school and decided to do the body shop life. Started making some money and realized I could afford a new rig. Sooo I bought a 2001 Toyota Tacoma Doublecab. Great truck. Well then things went south at the body shop and I couldn't deal with their crap anymore. So my job hunt lead me to a company on the other side of south dakota that made huge scoreboards for major and national leagues. They offered me $4 more an hour to paint these monster chunks of metal. I took the job that day. But that meant I had to move, and moving costs money, so I had to sell my pathy. That was a hard thing to do. Considering I had 250,000 on the ticker and countless memories in that thing. Fast forward a year and I've met a girl and we're gonna move to missouri, so I gotta cut a few costs, mainly my Tacoma. So I start looking for something cheap to replace that. My first thoughts were "get another Pathy" I looked and looked and only found one, and it was an overpriced POS. A guy down the road had an 87 jeep comanche that he only wanted $1000 for, so I decided to get that and fix it up since we still had about 6 months til the move. So I watched another rig I loved go on down the road, and climbed into the Heep to start again Fast forward about 9 more months, and the fiancee dumped me, I moved into a cheaper place, and the jeep refuses to take an hour long trip without something going wrong and leaving me stranded. So I've been looking at my "fixit list" for the jeep (new floors, new rockers, new bumpers, tires, lift, carpet, seats, possibly a transmission) and am really debating on giving up. I found a 94 pathy for 1500 bucks. I think its time to go back to Japan. Its either fix up the MJ (comanche), buy the pathy, or take out another loan and buy a frontier or a subaru. I emailed the Pathy guy asking for some info before I even try to make the 1 hour journey in the Heep to take a look at it. I'm not gonna bother to put up a poll, cuz all you knuckleheads will vote Pathy Thanks for taking a trip down memory lane with me. And if ya remember me, even better! See ya around! Travis Oh yeah! I'll post pics of the rigs tomorrow if I remember!
  5. nope. going with the SBC. easy to fix, easy to build...and i already have one
  6. So, yeah, I havent been on in a few months, way too busy. So i'll give yall an update. I graduate wyotech in a week, got my degree in collsion/refinishing, with custom fabrication/paint as an added bonus and i've found me a job painting semi's at a local shop. (good money my friends, good money) but thats no what you wanna hear right? you wanna hear about me Pathy. Got trans #3 a few months back. still kicking at 238,000 miles. found myself a wagoneer for $200 bucks. you know what that means........ SAS TIME!!!!. and the engine's getting pulled and rebuilt. shooting for the whopping 200HP mark. but thats not my only project..........i also have the lowered pig....my 1980 720. My brother and i are starting to analyse the 350 swap right now. i've got the engine, the tools and the help. but not the time or money. .......and then there's the rail.....I've got the body pulled off my 86 s-10, getting it ready to make the redneck rail. we're using the stock frame and engine/trans, but building a new cage to go around it. it wont be safe by any means, but definately fun in the dunes this summer. ...and then there's the down. I'm jumping to the toyota end of the spectrum for my DD. found an 02 4-door tacoma 4wd for only $16,000. big bro's holding it on his lot for me right now. but thats all for now, i'll post up some pics when i get back to sunny SD. -El P
  7. actually, I DON'T have a transfer case..........its 2wd and lowered!
  8. there is no emissions laws here, so anything goes a v8 WILL fit, just dont know if i wanna go that route yet..... and i'm on a budget, so anyhting you can throw at me will help
  9. Ok Ok, a lot of you know about my little project 720 (its coming along quite well, new interior, rust repaired, and paint) but now i need to look at another approach. what do i do to get more oomph out of my little 2.4? its carbuerated with a piddly weber carb. help me out folks
  10. did someone buy her a pathy for her birthday?? lol
  11. I cut my own for the pathy amazing what a leftover scrap of vinyl and an x-acto knife will do
  12. pretty sure a nissan 6 lug is a nissan 6 lug. dont bite me if it aint. but why do you wanna put 17's on a pathy? stick with 15's you'll be happier unless you're going for bling and bumpin'
  13. yeah, there should be a black insert that slides into there. contact your local j/y should be able to get one for $20 or so ......or contact slick, she's got 4 pathy's now
  14. hmmm, kinda like tech school-3 girls for 3000 guys. been there done that! lol welcome to the site!!
