  1. I know his truck has a manual gearbox. With an automatic, I know it's only for a moment, but with 174ft/lb of torque doubled by the transfer case in 4-lo to 348ft/lb of torque. Couple that to a 2:1 ratio torque converter, and that's rougly 696ft/lb of torque off the line. Don't mind my simpletons math. I've tried to do a couple 2-lo launches, the brakes just aren't strong enough, but first gear is gone in only a moment. I also do not recommend doing the above.
  2. I get an error on that link. I do stuff with my truck off road, now, that I doubt it'll make it through, but it does. Body is worse for wear, but I'm having fun doing it! Oh, and getting stuck in a bog, and me being me, I don't want to get out to hook up a strap. So... 3500 RPM's and switching back and forth from D and R. Someone funny to hang my head out the window and watch the wheels go from one direction to the other without hesitation. As a disclaimer, I don't recommend doing the above.
  3. wow! Even cooler! Are they heated? Though who knows, someone could have swapped them in from an LE. Hard to say!
  4. Well thanks man! It's really nothing special, but I appreciate it!
  5. I can't believe with all this crazy winter weather we've been having that there weren't more submissions! Voted.
  6. You should just do a retrofit. Even with fluted housings stock, the intensity of the focus on a projector shouldn't even affect it much.
  7. We did, he had made two topics, both in TBI and MPFI WD21 sections.
  8. The same ****** 9004 that infected the United States for far too long.
  9. In theory, it should work as even the 2WD use a RE4R01A. I wouldn't try to put a 4wd trans in a 2wd truck or visa-versa but both the Pathfinder and the Xterra being 2WD models, it should bolt and plug in. On a side note, you got a 1995 SE-V6 with leather and 2WD? I bet it's the only one! lol.
  10. With the old O2 sensor, it would just barely get a 6th or 7th flash in the ten seconds. With the "new" O2 sensor is flashed more than 10 times.
  11. Could also be the ignitor, when they go bad they aren't too happy when hot.
  12. The headlight housings play a vast majority in that A relay harness, a QUALITY bulb, and proper headlight alignment would do you wonders. I recommend Osram or Phillips.
  13. Out of curiosity, how fast did the red/green lights flash? Did they lazily flash together, or did they strobe? In one of my VG powered vehicles I thought the O2 might be going bad even after verifying that the lights flashed together. At some point I swapped it for another O2 sensor because it still didn't seem like it was running quite right, but with the other O2 sensor the lights flashed very fast together.
  14. VICTOR REINZ Part # 5758 rockauto, 4 remaining, get them while they're available! $18 a pop. Use discount code 1986355617554984 in the "how did you hear about us" box to save 5%
  15. Moog is an excellent brand. 10/10 would recommend.
  16. Sounds like a lot of work for a bulb that isn't much better than the 9004.
  17. I only see it three times on the first page, it can't be much of a pandemic?
  18. You can't use a lift from the rear of a D21 in a WD21 because the springs are different. D21 uses leafs while the WD21 uses coils. Lift springs and extended shocks can be had for relatively cheap though.
  19. the TA K/O is an excellent tire. function > form bro.
  20. I bet if you were to pull the carpet back and remove the fuel pump access plate, you'll find the leak The best way to siphon 99.99% of the fuel is through the big hole in the top of the tank anyway.
  21. Easiest way to check toe is with a tape measure or, even better, two! Make sure you measure from the same lugs on both front and rear of the tire as close to center as possible. I know when I do it on the rear of the front tire it's almost touching the torsion bars.
  22. Good info B! My SE did not have dual trips, but I did swap out the cluster for one that did, which also happened to drop 20,000 miles off my odometer!
  23. When I did a manual swap in my 1987 200SX, I made a jumper plug so the car thought it was always in P or N so it would start. Basically went through the plug and jumped two pins until I found the correct pair for the starter to engage. The reverse lights were on a separate plug and that just plugged in.
  24. Lucky the rotor didn't break! Lucky you didn't hurt any one! Good to see it's on the road.
