  1. Another free one is Irfanview. It's a free download. It can resize, view, rename, even re-encode in batches. Great little program http://www.irfanview.com/
  2. Heh. Cuplholders are very important for Tim Horton's addicts!!!
  3. *snicker* Don't forget the "Powered by Nissan" stickers. Good for another 5hp. Seriously though, what's been said. Cheapest, easiest way is intake and exhaust.
  4. Yeah, I know. My problem is I bought one of those multiple ended tire irons in the cross pattern. I forgot how much torque you can get on one of them. D'OH!!!!
  5. Strength, no.....fat, yes. I leaned into it!!!
  6. Overtightened it when I put the new tires on. I'm an idiot!
  7. Okay....searched again, and found Mr. Pickles had a similar happening. (his was stripped, but still needed to be replaced) One of the instructions said to remove the hub, hammer out old stud from the front, place new stud in, and tighten the lug on the stud until it seats in the hub. Sounds easy enough. I'm going to give it a shot on the weekend. If I don't screw the job up too much, I'll do a little writeup.
  8. Yeah, I searched. It found 34567 thread on manifold studs, but I didn't find any on wheel studs.
  9. Looking for assistance as stated above. One of my front studs broke at about the halfway point of it's length. The remaining stud is not long enough to get a lug on, so must be replaced. I haven't looked into it yet, but was wondering if anyone here has done it, and if so, what does it entail? Thanks for any and all input.
  10. ALL of them say 54-98Lb/ft of torque in my FSM for a 95.
  11. I don't think it can. As far as I know, timing in these things is completely mechanical, whether you're driving a WD21, or an R50....as long as you don't have the 3.5L engine.....Someone correct me if I'm wrong.....
  12. Also....DO NOT use Royal Purple stuff that's good for GL4 and GL5 applications. It's too slippery. Find a true GL4 fluid. I had some before......Pennzoil Synthetic, GL4, but by the time I put it in, I'd already done the damage with the GL5 fluid........
  13. I tried that, and still couldn't get enough fluid in. I took the shifter off, and poured the fluid in from the top. Works great.
  14. Dowser....to update....I bought a different type of harmonic balancer puller for $30 CDN. Now I'd be confident that we could have finished the project. You could come back if you like, and get-er-done. Sorry to post jack, Nakta........everything Dowser said is correct!!
  15. The plastic trim around it pulls off, and the inside door handle remains mounted to the metal behind the panel.
  16. 95 SE Red. Aztec Red to be precise. The colour is almost as ugly as the Aztec itself!!

    shocks & tires

If I'm not mistaken, there is already holes in the rear frame, where the bumper mounts, to relocate it. No need for a bracket. Existing hardware gets the job done.

Jeep Grand Cherokee coils. Any 93-97 V8 Front coils from a JGC will give you about 3" of lift in the rear of your Pathfinder. :cool2:
  19. I replaced my stockers with Monroe's in the rear. I would have gone with a Rancho 5000, or 9000, but at the time, I had broke the mount off one of my stockers, on a Sunday, and had to get to work on the Monday. Only shocks available to me at the time were the Monroe. Anyways, they seem fine, though, they're pretty soft, probably comparable to the stock adjustables on the comfort setting. If I have a choice, when these go, I'll be going with the aforementioned Rancho's.
  20. ^^^ What he said!!! If you're running an 88, and you've still got the stock cooler, consider yourself lucky you haven't had a catastrophic failure of the AT yet, as many, much younger, Pathy's have. Get that cooler changed out pronto....and remember to COMPLETELY BYPASS the stock cooler when you install the new one. Good luck.
  21. AFAIK.....there are NO TD Terrano's here V6......
  22. I've been told the same thing K9....and still, whenever I look....it's level. It's got me stumped..
  23. You're right B. No O-Ring and only 2 screws. What I meant to say is that the cleaning portion is the same, not removal......my mistake.
  24. Could be an alignment issue. Has that been done? Also, did you bleed all the brakes, at the wheels, when you replaced the master cylinder? Have you got drums or discs in the rear? If drums, have you checked the wheel cylinders? Possibly one is leaking..... I'm sure someone else will chime in with more suggestions.
