As K9 said......take the belt off......move the pulley back one tooth...... When you put the belt back on, make sure the marks line up on the 2 pulleys that were correct before.....your mark should now be 1 tooth off on the pulley that was out of line. That way, you know you've done it right.... Alternatively, you can make a new mark on the belt where it SHOULD line up with your sprocket, and when you replace it, make sure all the marks line up.

Nope....that's how you'd do it Slick, just as K9 instructed.......

That's similar to a problem that us WD21 owners have as well, but ours usually causes the dome light to flicker as well. You may want to try unbolting the latch, and seeing if there's any play, so that you can just shift it forward a little bit, to get the hatch to close tighter.......May be a more permanent fix.....possibly even moreso than a new part, as those plastic sleeves seem to wear out pretty quick.

MWS....PM me for an FTP link to the entire FSM......if you like!.

I just used a SMALL (that's the key) dab of regular chassis grease (for ball joints and the like) too much, and it'll get sucked up into the motor, and possibly bog down the motor..... To clean, yes...you'll have to remove the glove box, and the panel in behind it.

4hi is on the fly up to about 25mph.......ANY shifting into 4Lo requires a full stop, and preferrably, the tranny in neutral.

Here's a link to the EM section of the 94 FSM. It has info on the heads, and torque specifications. EM section of FSM

The KA24E is a 4 cylinder engine slick. Follow the instructions for the VG30E. Are you sure it doesn't say a Pre 90 VG30i?
-
Slick...you have the VG30E.....

It's not uncommon for brand new cars to have horrible gas mileage as the engine breaks in. I wouldn't worry about it, at least not until you've gotten to the 2nd oil change. My brother-in-laws Titan was getting BRUTAL gas mileage for the first 10,000Kms.....but it's settled in much better since. Remember as well, it's not a race car.....go easy on the throttle, and you'll be alright.
-
Yeah yeah....do that......sure.....your gaskets may look SLIGHTLY different though!! On a serious note........If you want the FSM, PM me and we'll see what we can do.

Hey Jay....there was a post about the blower motor recently. Something about how to Not cause a fire or something like that. Basically, leaves, dust, and general crap gets into the Blower motor, and the plastic casing that houses the heater core. They're both located behind the glove box. Real easy to get in there, and clean out. I just took my blower out, as it was making all kinds of noise, vacuumed it out, as well as the plastic casing where the heater core is. I also had a squeak in my blower motor, and I ended up pulling the bottom part off, and putting a dab of grease in where the shaft and bearing meet. Nice and smooth and quiet now.

UCA's for a 95 Pathy would be awesome. Let me know on pricing..... Thanks Knoxville!

Could be bad gas......could be colder weather (is it cold where you are) could be wind conditions, could be a clogged fuel filter, could be the tires are low on air.........there's a million things.... I'd say keep an eye on it over the next couple of tanks to see if it clears itself up....if not, then start worrying, and asking questions.

Thanks for the tip Filthy .....I used them for a muffler, and a caliper on my old car, and had completely forgot about them......I'll be sure to check them out next time I need parts.
-
Why? Are their prices that much better than $30 for a glasspack? Or do they have other low price options?
-
Me too....I think it was like $15 or something, and it bolts on......I'd just get it from a Stealer an be done with it.
-
Alright folks....good info, thanks..... I bought a "Cherry Bomb" glasspack for about $30CDN. I clamped that on, and sealed the joints using muffler cement. Really easy install, and the difference is amazing. Nice low rumble at idle, and a deep throaty exhaust note when pushed....not ricey at all, and it's not too loud. All in all, I'm quite happy with it so far. Hopefully it lasts longer than the old POS muffler I had on there.

Derogate.....read THIS wheel went through quite an episode with his truck..... I echo JJ's sentiments here, Wheel366.....Glad you have it back, and I hope to hell you never go through something like that again. Enjoy it bud!

We have no O2 after the cat......but what you're saying makes sense, and the more I research it, the more it proves what you're saying makes sense. Most mufflers have chambers that baffle sound, but don't actually "filter" anything it seems, so emissions control is done at the cat, and before.......which is all I need to know. Now hopefully it won't be unbearably loud with the glasspack, although, I remember Mr. Jim ran one way back when, and didn't seem to mind it.

Hmm....naw....I'm in Ontario, and they aren't gonna get on me about the noise, given all the riced out Civic's around here.......that won't be an issue, I'm sure.....if it does nothing for emissions on a technical level, I'll go for it. Thanks for the info..

Alright folks....here's the situation....I've developed a small exhaust leak at the muffler. It's a POS Speedy Muffler "lifetime" guarantee one. Garbage. Anyhow, i bought a tailpipe, as mine is shot as well. The fact of the matter is I'm going to have to replace EVERYTHING exhaust related at some point, although money is tight right now. With that said, I can get a glass pack muffler really cheap, and it at least seems better constructed than the typical stock replacement mufflers available. My question is, how much does a muffler reduce emissions, if at all? I will have to pass an emissions test in August, and I don't want to fail because of the muffler. If anyone has any thoughts on this, let me know. Thanks

Nice job Harb!!! Looks much better.

Glad you found the problem.....don't worry, we've all had our moments!! :judge: That said....tighten your helmet, you special little boy!!!

The fusible links are basically all the connectors that plug in at the + terminal if I'm not mistaken. A while ago, there was a guy on here (can't remember who) who's fusible links were all corroded....he just put on ring connectors, and hooked them all directly to the terminal....worked fine.
