And with 202k on the clock you might want to replace those shocks, and inspect the swaybar links and the rest of the suspension and steering. I bet it steered loose and was all over the road before that even happened...

Did you change the filter? Also adding some Lucas tranny additive made mine shift a lot better too. Oh yeah, you have to flush with a lot of fluid something like 14 quarts to get all the old dirty stuff out. I have no idea about the solenoids. I have no knowledge of transmissions other than that flushing and filtering helped mine a lot.

Yeah. Try unplugging the 02 sensor under the hood and see if it runs better...I didn't have enough cash to replace mine in the summer, so I forgot about it, and it's been slowly getting worse....

Have you checked to see if your transmission is in limp mode? When you turn the truck on the does the power light blink or just come on and then go off?

I had the same problem except mine was intermittent. The fluid was brown, and smelled burnt. I had it flushed and installed an external filter, and the problem is gone.

Surprisingly, I've had no problems with the ac delco battery the shop installed when I bought my pathy.

My 93 had the same issue. Turned out to be the dimmer switch, for interior lights at least. When you moved it you could hear crackling

Why would you want to go smaller? I got better gas mileage with my 31's even.

I have Monroe sensa trac's in the front of my pathy and it rides and corners pretty good now. The Monroe-matics are the cheap econo ones I believe, I don't know anything about them

I haven't burned out on dry pavement but on wet roads I can spin it good when pulling out of an intersection. My pathy did it easier with good tires than my friends 305 sierra with worn good year ultra grips.

I think a FULL tune up is required on this truck...do it soon before you waste a crap load of gas and/or it completely dies on you. Just a thought, has the timing belt ever been changed on that thing?

I agree, my 95 is amazing in the snow, just today my friend wanted to show me where he was going to have his bonfire party, and we had to take an old (read never plowed) farm road. The snow drifts were 3 feet high in some spots, put her in 4x4 and she plowed right through it! Prginocx, I live in Canada and it gets pretty darn cold here, like -20 is the norm in January. I let the pathy run for 5 mins in the driveway to get the oil circulating, then I drive her easy until it reaches full temperature. By the time I'm out of my neighborhood, the heater is blowing pretty hot. I also have a "winter front" on my truck which keeps the heat in better.

Why won't anyone do it? If all the parts are new it must be a camber adjustment...or some other adjustment.

Mine also did this, the wire on mine actually ended up being broken.

I remember reading on here somewhere, that when if the starter went, you could park the rear wheels on those cement parking blocks, and roll of that to start it. That is what I did with my moms rodeo when the starter died on it while I was 40 miles from home.
