  1. *has an automatic with a 3" body lift* I have not had any issues other than my rusty frame is more visible
  2. Pm some members in washington and other west coast states. I got a full set of used locks in mint shape from pathrider for a steal.
  3. also why the hell do you have locknuts. Its not like your rims/tires are worth stealing!
  4. If it started doing it immediately after the lift I would suspect what pathfounder said is true. If it just started recently the joints are probably gone. Mine are original as well and damn does it shake.
  5. You shouldn't have to replace the bearings, just repack and tighten them properly. They hardly ever fail on these trucks. I pulled my oem bearings from my truck with almost 200k miles and they looked brand new (I repacked them when I did the brakes).
  6. Bro, if there is any play in a universal joint it needs to be replaced. If it is not clunking yet you should be ok for the trip back though.
  7. We're getting a good amount of snow right now and the roads are pretty greasy. I dropped it into 4hi at 30km/h with absolutely no noise except for the thunk of the front drive line catching up to speed.
  8. I've done that before. It's pretty comfy but my rear seats didn't recline enough for me.
  9. Oops sorry didn't see that it was an 03. My bad.
  10. Exactly, just take out the spare and hold the tire up there and see if it clears, no need to make whole new damn thread about it.
  11. Factory VG temp is 170 degrees.
  12. I can shift while moving with no grinding whatsoever. The only time it used to grind was when I hadn't changed the tcase oil and the tires were slipping a tiny bit. Although I stop most of the time, there are times were I'm on the road and can't stop because of people behind me on inclines.
  13. I find the overdrive kicks out way to easy on these trucks regardless of which tires you have on. There are times where going up a hill mine kicks down where if I had a 5 speed I could hold speed perfectly without gearing down.

    Hood Paint

What nunya said. Most body shops will make you up a can or aerosol can, but if you have a spray gun then a regular can, of paint either by the paint code or that little machine that attaches to your car.
  15. Those tires don't look brand new... Maybe you could get a car that is good on gas for the time being that would save you even more cash.
  16. According to my 1995 FSM it is 13-16 ft-lb
  17. X2 When I helped 4x4path94 do his we did not remove the front diff.
  18. Mpg tricks for a pathfinder: -keep it tuned up -Accelerate smoothly and at a reasonable rate -Don't speed I find I get way better mileage either taking the back roads or going on the highway at a speed that may be faster but in an rpm where the engine isn't struggling.
  19. This is a common problem for lifted IFS pathfinders. You need to put some longer bolts in there if you haven't already done so. The shop that did my alignment was actually smart and did it for me. I believe they used M14x1.5x60. Someone will correct me on that if I'm wrong, stock length is 50mm i believe.
  20. Because it will not solve the problem of the @!*% load carrying capacity the r50's have stock. He will still be riding on the bumpstops lol.
  21. Ha mine did that in the summer. It stopped doing it when I put the fuse back in recently.
  22. Yep and you won't always see the holes from the bottom for example the heat shields were covering a couple of mine. You can get replacement carpet from rockauto
