k well, jumping did nothing did the click thing, then no power. so then I went around with a test light and I still have power at the posts, and to the main wire to the starter and the bunch of wires that come off the battery. grounded the light to the - battery post is there maybe a relay that is fried?
-
and its not he battery posts, cause I threw one of those batterypacks on and it still did the same thing, but it did do the kkkkkclick thing for a split second. maybe I will try jumpstarting it in the morning.
-
done that. clean and traced. pulled all the loom off alot of the wires and it only when I push/pull the little plug when the power comes back on. but still, why wont it turn over? as soon as I turn the key to the start postion, I get this click(like normal) and then all the power goes out. when I have power, I can hear the fuel pump and everything else working, all the lights come on. what would help is if somone could tell me where these three wires that come off the starter(not the main power wire, 3 small wires, 16 gaugeish) are for? think im just gona try and bypass the plug and see what happens.

k, truck drives great. everything works(well, almost) drive it over to the other side of the yard, wash it. leave it for a while (1-2hours) jump in, turn key, have full power, turn key to start, click(starter relay or somthing, always does it) then the k k k k k k click. just like the battery is dead. then I have no power, to ANYTHING. NOTHING. pop hood. find the problem spot Right behind the battery, way down on the fender there is a plug. 3 wires go into it(from the starter) and 2 go out(to the main wire harness. I can jiggle the connector and I will get all power back, but when I turn the key it will do the usual click then NO power again. jiggle, click, nothing. jiggle, click, nothing and so on. what are these wires for? starter side: white(maybe pink) and blue black white and another black harness side: -White(pink?) blue -Black white. help asap. its my DD and I need it tommorow. HELP!!! :help:

so... want to show me where some clear taillights are avaliable to buy in NA???
-
and it shouldnt really have anything to do with the exhaust. remember that the pipe bends over the axle, and even with 235's on, the exhaust pipe is still much higher then 20". the water may have gone into the end of the pipe, but I doubt it got over the rear axle.

take the filter out and try starting it.

how did you get your shocks off without taking the panhard off, slick? or did you just put the bar back on?

How many miles do you get from a full tank?
89_trailboss replied to zack1978's topic in 90-95 WD21 Pathfinders
I think alot of our @!*%y gas milage is because are fuel gauge is screwed. I always though my gas light was burnt out, now I will drive for a day/two on completly empty(according to the gauge) and the light will barely flicker. be carful if you have no swaybars tho, its like driving a completly new beast when you have a full tank compared to a empty one  -

How many miles do you get from a full tank?
89_trailboss replied to zack1978's topic in 90-95 WD21 Pathfinders
HOLY @!*%!!!!! Best Ive gotten was 320 KM to a tank. yes, KM!!!!!! thats just under 200 miles to a tank. this SUX!!!!!! 3" sus lift 31's A/t 4.625s. OEM light bars with 4 6" liths. full 2.5" exhaust flowmaster 40. 8 mm plug wires, new filter, oil change, cap, rotor ect I did go threw almost 1/4 tank 4 wheeling and have since found that I can go REALLY low on a tank. How far can you guys go once the gas light turns on? I put 30 km with the needel totaly on E (did not move at all since start up) and at the 30 km the gas light started to come on and off -
they work fine, no weird noises. and yes, I can turn a wrench. righty tighty, lefty loosey... or is it the other way around? do you know what size the breath hose is?
-
the breathers are stil stock location. wouldnt I have water in the oil seeing there pretty low IIRC?
-
nope, guess im going to be changing diff oil tommorow!!! Rear LSD, can I use just strait gear oil? want it as tight as possible so hopfully no additive will help, no?
-
well my alt is already screwed. it just wont die yet. my exhaust exits almost in the stock location, just a few inches under the truck tho. and pics, I would have pics of my last encounter if my camera wasnt under my seat the only time I bring the stupid thing and I cook it

well, seems around here theres a fair amount of deep water. and ive always seemed to find my self stalled at the botom of a hole, deep ones that is. so Im wondering what I should do to prepare for the next deep hole? Ive finaly got my snorkel working, ECU is in glove box, removed carpet so I dont have any bad smells, haha. Im working on wiring up an E fan, and am going to put a bead of silicon around the cap/dist. I carry a jug of oil and filter. what about the exhaust(2.5") anything else?

bigger box solved the problems :o drives great. removed the A.B. valve and removed the vacum hose for the EGR. seems to be a bit of boost in power too!!!. the box is just a cut up stock box. unfortunantly it is round( the look I didnt want) so I will probly make a new on when I have time to change the looks of it. but it works!!!. and it had nothing to do with any hoses.you can run these things fine without any of that crap. the only hose that is hooked up is the crank case vent. other wise theres just a SH!T load of bolts plugin everything, haha. ill try and grab some pix once I throw some paint on it. -
what happend??? Used to be a big AC guy, then there forum started getting even worse and I have latly ened up spending more time here. must have missed what happend to you...
