  1. Pez, its Soccer Mom down here in the US. hah
  2. It would be awesome to see a built 01+ QX4 lol. I bet it would rock on the trails with that 240 hp and the lower low range ratio.
  3. You really wouldn't wanna weld the rear diff in a daily driver. You wont break your driveshaft but you'll wear your tires like crazy.
  4. Lol inner fender lining removed.. http://s86.photobucket.com/albums/k107/nis...t=moabriver.flv I filled up the airbox and sucked in a ton of water. Drained the airbox and finished the trail and the weekend and drove back 250 miles with no problems at all. This was on kane creek june 2006 when i was pretty much stock.
  5. Sure did. It went 200k miles. Its sucked up water, mud, sand and other crap. Funny you bring that up because you hear of a VQ splashing through a puddle and hydrolocking. Now when your VQ goes 200k without a hitch come talk to me again.
  6. VG. More reliable long lasting engine.
  7. You could always find a thicker radiator but not as wide so it clears that steering box.
  8. He has a maxima fan with both fans set on the maximum setting.
  9. 36,000+ 18,000 huh, I would like to see how that would run...
  10. Even with that stock external cooler its still good to replace it with a bigger one. I think most here replace them with coolers rated between 10,000-20,000 GVW. The stock external coolers also clog overtime which overheats the trans overtime. Thats what happened to mine.
  11. If the camshaft moved left (counter clockwise) then you want to turn it right (clockwise) back to 11 o'clock or to the alignment mark.
  12. So last night me and my friend hit a couple of trails up a local canyon here. Everything was going fine until I decided that I wanted to test out my new front skid. 1/4" skid. So I drive up to a rock that I think would be ideal for it and since it was night the rock was smaller then I thought and I slid right over it and became high centered on the rear LCA mounts and my diff. I put it in reverse and went no where. Turns out I was stuck on that big tab that comes out of hte bottom of the diff. (see second pic) I couldn't go foward because of a pretty decent drop off. The rock was right where the oil pan would have been with out this subframe lift. Drivers side What was keeping me from getting off. Passenger LCA Some good rockrash to the LCAs but nothing is bent except for that rear passenger side LCA mount cap. (the thing that you unbolt when you remove those 2 bolts) Wish I had a camera on the trail. Oh well.. Time for an ARB. Alex
  13. Mine did the same thing when i tried to align it back to the dot on the back of the tbelt cover. I just took a ratchet and moved it back and put the belt on. Runs better then ever.
  14. lol okay, I didn't think it was ghetto at all. Unless you think spending a small amount of money for a good setup is ghetto.
  15. I also just finished up my subwoofer install. I used an infinity 10" sub rated at 1030 watts peak and 250 rms. And a "Verge" amp I think it is rated at 230 watts RMS. I went online and typed in the specs for the sub into a subwoofer box demension calculator dealy and it gave me the demensions. It sounds really good for how much I paid for everything. I think I spend about $40 total. The sub was $15 from a friend who had it brand new in a box for awhile, and I traded one of my jeep friends a spare 33" for the amp. The wiring was the most expensive part. I ran an 8 gauge back to the amp. Then from the REM amp turn on switch I just tapped into my stock non bose nissan amps turn on switch so when that goes on the sub amp goes on. I also discovered that the deck I bought for $75 was a really good bang for the buck. I bought it off a friend on AC. Its a Pioneer premier DEH-480mp I think. It has preouts for the front/rear and the sub so if I ever wanted to amp everything I could. It sounds way good and im happy with it. Although I want to build a more stealth like box.
  16. I think it would be cooler to see a CNG conversion.
