Still have the tick/tap... but it is more throttle resposive... or it was just the fact the sun went down and everything was iced up I will play with it more tomorrow as the Tap is much more noticable when she starts up.. simple process of elimination with the SeaFoam...
-
So I grabbed some SeaFoam last night... Ran some of it through the Vaccuum hose coming off of the Charcoal Canister.... Smoked like a mother... Had to rev the engine a bit to get it to suck in it... Need to add it to the oil when I know im going to be driving it a bit and ready for another oil change....
-
My Calmini's came with the SL kit.... Cruise the JY I have seen some SAW's... Then I went back with the cash and they were gone
-
If his is leaking oil it will come righ off once all of the items attached to it are moved out of the way....
-
I will also venture to guess the timing belt is missing some teeth.... Pop the Distributor cap off and hand crank it to see if it rotates... If it does rotate Check the ECU Codes...
-
I would run with it, get the parts you need to fix it. When it thaws out borrower a garage if needed...
-
Yes, Try tightening the screws a bit(dont Crank them in)... If that dose not fix it, the passenger side comes off pretty easily....
-
I did the 3"SL... And I am seriously considering a 2 or 3" BL......
-
When I installed my Throleys, the Headers were torqued on the engine. The 3 bolts for the drop down and cross over were in but I did not tighten them up until I also had the Y-pipe threaded into the STOCK Exhaust... Then I went around and Tightend all of the piping up.... I opted for cutting the EGR Tube and adding 1" to it... Did not have a torch handy to reform it... When I had to remove the engine to swap out the JDM Flywheel for my original one, every thing went back together np... Robbie click the link in my sig and verify you have the correct Part ### DTD-464-2. Hastfic had a problem with his thorleys in his 88? 89?.....

Codes???? Fuel pump kick in when you turn on the key?? Move the floormat so your clutch hits the switch??? Gauge on the 91 and 95 show levels with key on or off.... upon filling it up it comes up after the key is turned on....
-
maybe but he wont share them willingly or even at a fair price sly Atleast if we want we can
-
Forgive me, but I believe you answered your own question.... Even with Heeps-----> when it blows im gonna drop a 350 in there... what sucks more is the aftermarket supports them in those efforts....
-
About as Rare as those SwimSuit photos of Pezzy. I have never seen a WD21 with Heated seats that worked.
-
When I did mine, I replaced the studs, new washer spacers and new nuts... torqued with a crows foot and all.... No leaks, FelPro Gasket.... The Lock Nuts are disigned for 1 use only... On my 95 when the Passenger side was redone with a stock manifold we just decked the manifold and no gasket... no Leaks and its been 20K+Miles on it so far...
-
I sorry I did not get a chance to listen to this sooner... That sounds exactly like the motor in my 91... I have swapped out the lifters on both sides and Im running Thorleys that I have re torqued, they are not leaking.... I am still dumb founded on what is causing this noise.... Mine will lighten up a little after it warms up, but it is still very distictive when running... Started with 10-30 then went to 5-30... When I get the Subaru out of the Garage Ill try the seafoam....

Other than dirt roads, i dont think shes ever really been off of the pavement....

-
We know who you have been hanging out with.... lol, WTF??? did you just park in the wrong spot and get some Over Spray???
-
That Garage floor is too Clean..... The only thing I dont like about my Calmini is not being able to Lube the UCA's at the spindle.... I will get some down time and extra $$$ to have some Zerks installed... The biggest thing I liked about the Kit was that it was complete and pretty easy to install... Knowing what I do now, I would do it again, just machine for the zerk fittings 1st and MOOG Ball Joints... I still have the supplied ones installed and will beat them till they need replacing.... Customer Service was a bit challenging, but when I got to the top of the food chain there it was fixed.... One bad thing about being in Sales my self is I can have a short fuse with people that tell you what you want to hear vs what you need to hear...
