I had a long chat with the Muffler guys today. We came up with a plan of attack on the exhast challenge. Currently the drivers side header is as far as we can tell stock, the passenger side has a junkyard oem header with one broken stud. Based on him knowing that I can license in a non inspection county, new custom exhaust from the headers back. Appointment set for the 31st. Estimated cost $250 to $300 FlowMaster and all :cool2: He also mentioned going through the injectors and cleaning/replacing/upgrading. 130k miles may be worth it, one step at a time.

Just about any where I can catch a decent size fish. Those were caught in Cedar lake north of Colville. I fish Amber and a couple of other lakes out in the Cheney area. My Favorite is Flyfishing for StealHead -bounce- I grew up on Camano Island just north of Everett and Stealhead fishing was just something I got good at. Now to fish for them I get to go to Ringold Springs on the Columbia or down to Lewiston/Clarkston for the Snake or the Rhonde:) Since moving to the Spokane Area, (12 years now) I chase Bambi's grandfather:) I ordered the Wolf intake today. And have an appointment with the exhaust guys on tuesday:) Not going with the Headers for now, going to redo the Exhast from the crossover pipe back.

Filled mine up this morning and did the math= 20.01 mpg Included the 200 mile round trip to Grandma's house, out and back to the lake a couple of times, up the mountain to the sand pit for target practice. Limo Service for the Kids, and my usual back and forth to the office with the normal run here and there around town.

Intake and exahust, I know yours is a newer one, but it will give me a good idea as to which buy key I hit. My schedule is very flexible Fishing??? FlyFishing??? I got a pic floating around here somewhere of my boys with a 5lb rainbow:)

You may want to find out what they are getting for a trade in value?? I picked up the wifey's subaru for $100 more than what they were getting for trade in value. 2 hours and $200 for new CV joints and a case of Beer for the brother-in-law it runs great.

I had a similar related challenge. Died for no reason, Mileage went in the tank and would not stay running unless you had your foot into it. She had her good days and her bad days, like failing emissions. This was the same time frame as the exhaust header bolts breaking. I took it to the exhaust guys first, then they took it across the street to the engine guys. They called me up and said that they could not find anything wrong and it passed thier sniffer and it would pass the county inspection. It did. Since then shes been perfect :Magic:

Sell or get rid of a Patthy:confused: I have had Pathy blood in my veins since seeing that 1986/87 commercal of them driving through the Brazilian Rain Forest. At the time I was driving a 1982 Toyota Land Crusher:) Traded that in on a 1984 RX7 GSL-SE, had a need for speed that was crushed by a drunk driver on a rainy night in Redmond WA getting onto 520. Picked up my 88 in 1990, and will continue driving the 95 till hell freezes over then will offer to pull Satan him self out if needed:) Sorry just a little wild there. Wifey drives a 95 Subaru Legacy.

Then its not the one that I blew. Main relay fuse passenger side includes the check/main/fuel Relay. DJ thats why they call it Swindle at the Y.
-
Quick Question??? What about compatibility with like a e-fan from a newer model Pathy/Exterra/Frontier? Or are they all clutched fans?
-
oooooooooooooooooooooooooooo But atleast you can get some mileage out of the blown fuse. Shorten the Honey Due list. I got a replacement for my 92 from the local dealership. It was not cheap ($150).

The heat Shield on the passenger side exhaust manifold is gone. To me that means that someone has been in there doing something. If you have a small mirrior and a flashlight you will beable to see if any of the studs are broken and or if there are some newer ones:) Was the heat shield on the drivers side still there? Body Rust got to be an east coast rig. I did see a replacement Pannel somewhere for the section under the rear seat. If all of the lights and turn signals work your doing better than my 3 added together

Can I Add mine up???? 95SE 130k 92XE 192k 88SE 260k All I ever had to fix on the 88 was the Starter 1st time it died, 2nd time the Oil sending unit above the started failed and pourd Oil into the starter:(

pic's coming soon  Clean or dirty?? Prays for RAIN

K9, Nice Rig:) Same set up as my 95:) with the exception of mine being Black. I can not find anthing any where on the sport/comfort, not even sure witch setting it is stuck at. Local dealer wants $75 an hour to trouble shoot that and the fogs with a minimum of 3 hour and no garentees

Simon, I found the Pin, will check it out tonight:) Also DJ has this link on his cardomain for his intake system. http://www.stillen.com/Supertrucks_detail....id=48174&page=1

88, Do you have a link for where I can Guy/Shop the Thorley Headers?
-
Hello all I have a 95SE with 130k on it. I acquired it last summer(6k) after litterally driving my 88SE into the ground as I swore I would (260k and now the brother-inlaw's mother is driving it) Long Story. Then when I was bragging about my new 95 my manager says, I have a 92, $2500 later I have 3 Pathfinders -alcohol- I have never really been a grease monkey or a more mud the better type of 4x4'r. And what ever I do to the 95, I will eventually do to the 92. I have not decided if the Daughter will be driving the 92 or if it will become the Hunting Machine. The List: Broken Exhaust Header bolts Passenger side, had 2 left. Due to time constraints and availablity had to use a junk yard replacement on the warpage. Pacesetter has replacements and I will be getting a set. Need a Good link on where I can buy a set of ceramic coated ones, due to the heat that they are noted for any little bit of heat reduction will help. BTW I can license these in a non inspection county if needed, sssh if someone has a better Idea. Mass Air Flow??? (Engine seem so starve for more air when its hot out) Only one I have found so far for a after market is Venom. Suggetions. Intake systems, got the KN Filter already. Those intake Inserts??? Turbonator.com LOL Ignitions systems?? Better than stock?? MSD? Converting from the Clutch Fan to a Elictirc Fan System, reduce engine drag and increase air flow. (The 92 will eventually be doing some puddle jumping) Good/Bad Ideas Skid Plate: Black Panther has a great one imo, only challenge is the amount of snow we get and if its to much the front end will lift. Did that with the 88 and the plate I had made. Replacement Shrouds for engine compartment. Trouble shooting: Factor Fogs, do not work, Switch on console behind e-brake Suspension Toggle Switch, What is this for? fixing/repairing??? Left front turnsignal: Cracked by previous owner was rusted out, swapped it with the 88 worked for 2 days now nothing. Signal on dash flashes really fast. Left rear brake light, swapped bulbs worked for about 3 min or until driven for 3 min. Now if i just reset the bulb it works until you put it back in the holder and go down the road. (Annoying) Condensation Drips on passengers foot occasionally, 88, 92 and 95, I never sit over there so it does not bother me For me I just want to get a bit more out of it, and have what we need for those occasions when the directions do include after you leave the paved road. Thanks Thomas
