  1. this is the dude: http://www.xterraquebec.com/forum/profile....iewprofile&u=33
  2. Tell us more please. Clearly you have a top secret prototype Pathfinder that exists in no other place but your garage and my fruitful imagination! 6 or 5 speed?
  3. So what happens when you need to go on trails with deep and long water crossings?
  4. Chu gotta start wheeling son... sly EDIT: sweet Lord your sig is huge.
  5. There is a dude in Quebec that I or Pezzy can get you a contact with that is a distributor for IPF lighting. The Xterra club that Pezzy is involved in has been getting their IPFs through them at very very good prices. Here is a pic of Craz4sno's Xterra that has been IPFized to the tits: I have seen those in action and they are quite good. Here is an example of them lighting up some nature from a run that my buddy and I did in the winter:
  6. Is your current exhaust system shot? If not don't touch it. You'll bang up your muffler and tail pipe off roading so replace it with a cheapie one when necessary. You're best off getting some skid plates to protect your undercarriage first. As to intake, you can get a nice sexy snorkel from any decent 4x4 shop or fab up your own, there are a few good writeups available.
  7. Then get the lower BJs and do those as well. They're harder to replace than the upper ones. There are two steering systems available, Calmini and L&P. Calmini is more expensive but more overbuilt and complete. They have chronic issues with their idler arm bearings but that's something that can be easily fixed. They also seem to have issues with stuff being constantly on backorder so if you're not in a rush that's good. L&P uses more stock components so it is easier to get replacement parts. It's also cheaper and they have much better customer service. Also they are easier to get a hold of as they're on this board.
  8. Depending on shape of current ones I'd replace the t-bar adjusting bolts and nuts. Will make life much easier to be cranking down on new threads. You didn't mention balljoints, in what shape are your current ones? If you have everything apart might as well do those. Also if yer gonna lift a WD21 start looking for a proper steering system.
  9. Meh. You know by the time it reaches production it will be toned down significantly and the platform will be shared with the Quest.
  10. I relplaced the rubber window trim on the doors. You know the ones at the base of the side windows that always rust and bulge up? Yeah! that was pricey from the dealer. But it was a pet peeve of mine so I sucked it up and paid for new pieces.
  11. Won't the NISMO bar be stiffer and limit yer off road performance? Also you linked us to a Steering Stabiliser and not Sway Bar.
  12. I use WhiteOut. Mark it on the teeth and belt. Absolutely fool-(luker)-proof, it's also easy to transfer the marks to a new belt.
  13. http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=6957 There is a STICKIED THREAD on the subject in the 90-95 WD21 Pathfinders forum.
  14. Just noticed that it's $2300 not $3200. Still same applies though maybe just a little more ghetto fab though.
  15. If ya have a $3200 to blow on something like this. Given your situation (4th truck etc) I'd grab about the nicest Samurai possible for $1000 then spend the rest getting 33"s to fit properly with gears, dual t-cases and winch. Then have some fun on trails.
  16. Just get a locker or better yet weld her up and be done with it. To actually pay for LSD is a waste of money. Nice to have stock but that's about it. Also the carriers and gears won't be compatibile with the Mazda stuff.
  17. How badly is it molested? My friend did rocker damage in his truck last year and he went to a metal shop where he had them cut and bend (to a similar profile) a piece of diamond plate. He then made sure that the actual rocker won't rust by painting it, he painted the diamond plate black, and attached it using sheetmetal screws and black automotive goop to the actual rocker. The end result was very very nice. I am thinking of doing something similar to my quarterpanels (because they're quite dented).
  18. Seriously... as posted in the other thread, if you want to wheel challenging trails look into an older truck. Fixing trail damage on new trucks is expensive, and older trucks will in most cases be better and more capable in the first place. If you want something new, do take a look at the Toyota FJ Cruiser as well. There are some SPECTACULAR videos of it in action on Toyota's website...
  19. LFMAO..... never heard that one before...
