I'll try to find the pics but as posted above my friend did it in his Pathfinder. It wasn't hard at all.

 Complete waste? Why would I want yellow fog lights in the rear, white would be much more useful. And yes, it's just a yellow collar that's pressure fitted inside the housing. Comes right out with the lightbulb mounting plate. Perhaps you have them confused with some other PIAA light.

Ahhh.. yes. Alternator on the V6 engines is in terrible spot. If you don't care for your AC or the AC is already broken, you can mount an alternator in place of the compressor. My friend did it and it saved him a lot of trouble. I for example LOVE my AC so I don't want to remove it. I simply carry a spare alternator, and another set of bearings with me (they are very cheap). I have added another electrical plug on the alternator cable to make the swap easy on trails. That way I can remove the alternator from the vehicle and then fight with the big grey plug that is so very hard to remove from the housing. There is nothing much you can do. Some people spray their alternators with with fluids like WD40 but I think it only makes it worse. I go through far less alternators than people who soak them in that stuff. I just got very good at replacing alternators on trails. It takes me maybe 20-30 minutes to do the job from start to finish. Also rebuilding the alternators is easy, so replacing the bearings and cleaning the brushes can be done on trails.

Hello. Welcome to the forums. Please clarify your post and we'll be glad to get back to you as soon as we can. :type:

There is an equation that works like this: value of car without mods - (value of mods / 2) = selling price of riced out/modified vehicles.

I went back there again to order a dual oil filter relocation kit, and I ended up picking up another set of lights... a PIAA 940 Dual System Amber Fog with Clear Driving Lights  for $40 Canadian. They're gonna go into the rear bumper. I'll pull out the yellow insert from the fog lights and use them as backup lights. :Magic: They had a couple of sets of driving lights left but they went to my roomate and my coworker.

I am gonna go back today to see. I think my rear bumper needs some lighting as well.
-
Yep.. but I got it for $50 Canadian dollars, so it's like $15 USD. sly

LFMAO... I don't have that issue as I never tailgate or anything, but I had my buddy back up into my truck with his Xterra once at pretty good speed. His rear hitch would have absolutely demolished my front end, but the damage was very minor due to what's hiding under my bumper. sly

HAHAHA.. what you wanna do is crank up the bejesus out of the pressure regulator and work the nails with a bench grinder first for extra aerodynamics! :Magic:

I went by Performance Improvements (on Queensway in Toronto) last night to pick up the brake proportioning valve and they had a whole table worth of as is (no wiring harness) PIAA lights. I picked up two 510 series 4" fog lights! $50 instead of $250-300 that they usually retail for. I think they took apart their PIAA lights display stand because they had a pair each from pretty much every type of lighting they make, selling for $30 to $50. I love awsome scores like this!

If you want off road ability, then don't crank your stock torsion bars. Get proper aftermarket torsion bar that will allow you lift up your truck without making the ride too stiff. Also you'll need upper a-arms to maintain tire wear friendly camber. Also if you're looking to lift your truck you'll be needing four new shock absorbers to deal with increased travel and different range. On top of that you'll need an aftermarket steering system to deal with the fact that the stock Nissan system will pretty much explode within a month of lifting your truck. I hate to say this, but this topic has been beaten to death every two days by every new person asking the same questions without checking prior threads or searching.

I am with Dowser on this one. Rhino Line the bitch and be done with it. If you want to paint your truck camo you better be sportin' a mullet AND listening to Lynyrd Skynyrd. I kid i kid... it's Lynyrd Skynyrd OR a mullet. sssh

I installed my hitch right to the bumper supports but I reinforced them with some pretty large chunks of C-Channels. I took the rad and fenders off to make the work easier. The bolts that hold the bumper supports and reinforcements are 1/2" thick and go straight down through the frame. I did some insanely long pulls and the whole thing doesn't even move a millimeter. It's super strong. Here's a link to my buildup: http://nissan4wheelers.com/groupee/forums/...3/m/19310847811 There are no pics of the bumper bracket supports as I added them later on.

what's "larm"?

It's not hard, but time consuming. Just get the whole halfshaft off a wrecking yard if you're on a budget or completely new part if you're not. I'd say 5+ hours for a complete newbie.

Wait 'till you're done with BL.. 9000lbs+ is a lot when winching, you don't want crap to break at load on trails.
