  2. Nope...red clay vs white and look at tree placement and length of the hole...100% sure my pic was on Daniel BC that is all we ran on that day...same day I slid the right rear down the tree at the top of the switchbacks on Daniel
  3. Ya...I still get the mud itch from time to time and usually That hole is too deep for almost anyone....I squirted 4 bottles of water thru the radiator to try and get some air thru it to get to a hose to rinse it off...u gotta pay to play tho and it was fun...even better the 2nd time when the Jeep didn't have the balls to do it and I did it and he still refused even after I called him a p***y while poking his chest lol....good times
  4. nope this was on daniel...I donno if it was filled in on NOAS weekend b/c i broke before getting to it...if your going down daniel it's before you reach the peak before you go down the rocky hill climb this doesnt look like its rutted out as bad as when i went thru: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rSvDUPaxe1s Heres a better one they're in it on a dry day it looks like: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r4O6kbB_Zyw
  5. how about y you want one on a WD21? I don't do deep water/mud frequently but it happens...my VG30i drank its share of water in mud holes growing up...here is my latest trip...it wasnt water it was drinking...it was soupy mud...my air filter was drowned with mud from about 1-2 seconds of the splash into the deepend which was ~3-4' deep drive by after playing in the shallow end...checking out the deep end: in the shallow end before trying to get out of the "shallower" of the deep end (i'm on 33's): after splashing in the deepend: both times I went through i had to go and rinse the radiator b/c it was completely caked and caused overheating...my frame rails are still half full of mud b/c i havent had the chance to flush it...that was the nastiest mud i've been in a long time this one was on the opposite side of the truck but was over the hood on the passenger side on Daniel at URE:
  6. Covered lots of times...I ground off 2 pegs and ground the other 2 on a 3/4 ton Chevy tool I think but u can find the Nissan ones for like $20 somewheres online
  7. Yea sadly my 87 fsm is in storage in CA so hopefully James's offer can help u
  8. yea i had a bad voltage regulator and it'd get up to 17V...luckly i didn't burn out anything in my 87...but i'd def check voltage output and then start trying to figure out what it is that's burned out and track it back to a pin and try to follow it on a schematic to see what you have shorted... i found out last night that everything in the doors isn't fused...forgot to pull the 12V before clipping the wires on the old door and made some sparks...to my dismay no fuses had popped
  9. I did what crazy did...I learned moving anything on the truck causes painful alignment woes in getting it back together so I park wheels straight undo the 24mm back bolt after breaking the other 2 loose...
  10. i was thinking...burned out brake light wire in the bulb...replace and see if that fixes it...next change the fuse labeled radio...it'll keep the clock, radio and i believe cigarette lighter from working...
  11. 3" BL and some trimming...33 x 12.5R15...i donno the backspacing on the wheels...we havent had it on the trail yet but i expect some scrubbing still but we shall find out soon... on my 87 3" BL and 3" SL with 33x12.50R15 and lost of trimming and I still grab from time to time but i think my backspacing 3.75...I also have long travel shocks, panhard relocation brkt and no sway bars...
  12. OSR...more than likely its gear ratio's if I had to guess
  13. as long as your teeth count between the marks on the cams and and cam to crank on the drivers side then you are good...the marks are a visual reference
  14. I'd say give him a call and see: http://ruggedrocksoffroad.com/warn-premium-manual-hubs-28-spline-nissan-pathfinder-cyl-1990-01-p-227.html
  15. alright the pix suck b/c they're unintentional...i only went outside once today b/c of a migraine so heres what i found for tonight... heres a pic you can kinda see it:
  16. pull the antenna off the plate...unbolt the plate from the fender and feed it diagonally thru the hole...i think this worked on the last one i did...that or pull the wire as everyone has stated...
  17. Its janky but ill try to grab some and post them...its got about 10k miles on it and hasn't fallen off yet
  18. I had an o2 and EGR when my EGR hose was busted...don't recall what they were...I don't remember how many codes i had afer i broke a t belt and bent 3 valves and drove it on 4 cylinders...i'm sure there were plenty of them tho
  19. going thru 95 wiring diagrams and about to watch Lizard Lick on All Worked Up on TRU TV...I highly reccomend it

  20. we worked on the gf's truck...found out that the previous owner clipped all the radio harnesses and messed up all the stock speaker wiring so we gave up on that until i can map out a check list...she cleaned the insides out including taking out the center console...i readjusted the rear drums so they won't catch fire...we removed the shady lift springs that were in it and threw them away along with a bunch of other scrap stuff...next we need to drop the front end about 2" to get her sitting back level...oh and i tie banded the turn signals on until we get the new bumper brkts welded up since we put the BL on last weekend
  21. i fabbed a bracket up on my truck to make the fixed antenna work through the old power antenna hole...
  22. ahardbody....that sounds like my storage unit in CA>..i don't even remmeber what parts are in there...but i know theres a tcase/trans laying in the middle of it on my creeper...oh that'll be fun
  23. you could use the rear bumper if you can get some plate steel and drill 6 holes in it...in theory...basically you'll bolt it to the frame then bolt the bumper to that...won't be near as strong as the OEM mount but it'll look better... I will soon be inspecting trail gear's toyota rear bumper to see what type of mods need to be done to mount that bumper and maybe designing some rear bumper relocation brackets for the stock bumper...but i wouldnt count on seeing any of this from me in the next 2-3 months lol
  24. well the firing order is 1-2-3-4-5-6 so I wonder if your getting a double arc between 6 and 1 (ie maybe a worn rotor or cap)....I'd start basic and change the plugs, plug wires, cap and rotor and see what happens...if not replace at least inspect (ie resistance check on the plug wires) and visually inspect the plugs, cap and rotor...also inspect that the plugs are pushed on the cap good
